I liked how you guys talked about peaceful protests... When my group walked past on the way to the papal mass you guys threw condoms at us, had crude, unintelligent pictures and signs of our religious leaders... I thought it was a very immature and unintelligent protest. We sing and wave and you guys disrespect our religious beliefs with crude pictures, rude slogans topped off with throwing condoms. Great way to make a statement about yourselves and your beliefs!

And what makes atheism any less vile when you take into account some of the greatest atrocities of the 20th and 21st century have been commited in the name of godless secularism? I lso was as WYD and the pilgrims were indeed for the most part fun people. I was with the protestoers, and if you blieve it or not very few are bitter. Why should they.

i was at wyd & i saw a buncha reports of protesters on the news but never really saw many people out there. i google searched to see what i could find & this video came up. a whooole 400 views.. yup, def on ur way 2 making a difference bud. God Bless~!

We were at the Papal Vigil Saturday and there was a Coalition of No to Pope. As soon as we heard the Protesters we got out our guitars and we drowned out the Protesters. It was very fun to sing and dance while the Bitter Atheists were shouting. The Pilgrims were very happy and joyful something that the Atheists don't have because they had no reason to be happy. Are you guys protesting in MAdrid,Spain 2011? See you in MAdrid, SPain WYD 2011!

Another thing we attended a Debate at Sydney University called the Papal Plate Debate. It talks about Faith and REason. Cardinal Schoenborn of Vienna, Austria gave a talk on Evolution. Which is greatly supported in the church. Another thing when the Argentininans and Italians crossed each other at George Street they were yelling at each other like they had just won a soccer match.

HAd a great time at World Youth Day! There were joyful people from around the World. I met Brazilians,Germans,ITalians,Me­xicans,Niogerians and people from Mongolia. The Brazilians were yelling Brasil!Brasil! Brasil! Th The Italians were chanting and singing. the Spaniards were singing and dancing to guitars.
