What I was told is the AVERAGE slope is 2% and the typical golf course has a stmp meter of 10. Because, competition plays at 12 or higher.
we were issued the entire range of the AIMPOINT charts...
Otherwise, this is a great video which reinforces what you potentially will learn from the AIMPOINT Technology class.

@JamieDonaldsonAP Wrong! It's measured from the center. Otherwise, how can you balance the hole size if you are measuring it from the edge? That is why you can move the cup in your mind's eyes. I have just attended the AIMPoint class here in NC... Buy the iPhone Apps or attend the class. It's well worth it.

I am struggling with one thing though; what is the value of the rings on the chart? Everyone seems to gloss over that in terms of determining where you are on how to estimate distances. It's my understanding that these charts are based on within 20Ft???

AimPoint is based on the physics formula for ball-green & ball-hole interaction detailed in A.R. Penner's article, The Physics of Putting.
Penner concluded "Whether the results presented here would help a golfer improve their putting is debatable and, unfortunately, this author has not noticed any improvement in his game."
Reading the green with your feet is nothing new. If you can't read a green (& you've been golfing more than 5 years) this nonsense isn't going to help.
