most people play a song the same way as a record if you haven't noticed. it takes a while for a song to evolve in perfection. and the videoscreen is what they call "visuals". many artists who are creative with music use the visual technique to add to the experience, make it more spiritual so to speak.

i don't agree with a lot of tool's lyrics, but man, tool.. tool is something a lot of bands can learn from. tool is composed of all amazing musicians, and as a band, they are even better. can you play an instrument in the different timemeasure changes they do? maybe you could. but still, don't diss tool. they are an inspiration to many.

Believe me, when I can listen to the guitar lines that Adam Jones puts out once, go to my guitar and play them without even listening to them a second time... well I don't call that an amazing musician. I've heard a lot of tool stuff, and the only person in the band that impresses me is the drummer. He carries that band.
