@Bishop5466 A mace is a great weapon in this scenario, the only drawback is that it could be tiring, but it more than makes up for it in power.

Ok wow, you do know that the only real katanas (the ones that are famed for sharpness) are sold only in Japan to a select few for thousands of dollars. Ones found or bought in the US must be sharpened and even then they are actually less practical and effective as a machette. however I absolutely love your choice of Kukri, best knife ever.

@9999musica I agree, the low amount of effort needed for an effective strike is good for combating fatigue. Plus it has almost no recoil when it hits. The only problem is that it is less effective in a narrow hallway.

@GodWarrior7771 uhm......well....yeah....no...­.not at all. They rebound in a random direction, require a LOT of room to maneuver, and are way too flashy. A good knife will do MUCH better, and require much less effort.

@lazorman8 I don't think you understand what I said here. I said that it was at a disadvantage in narrow areas. A knife requires you to get close to the zombie, plus the only way to effectively kill the zombie with a knife is to stab it, which requires you to then yank it out (wasted time) the nunchaku bounces off its target. The nunchaku does not require a lot of energy to use at all and the flash is only for movies and demonstrations.

@lazorman8 The only knife I would use against a zombie would be the kurkri because it has enough chopping power to reach the brain. A normal combat knife slices instead of hacking and does not have the overall power in the blade itself for a decapitation or to penetrate the skull.

2. Ever heard of a tanto? That hing can pierce the skull like nothing.

3. The POINT of the knife (no pun intended) is to pierce the skull anyways, so why would I use it to slash anyways?

1.) Combat knives are among the most sturdy and effective of knives

If you are going to stab through the skull you need a large amount of accuracy and effort to be effective with it, plus when the blade is in the skull and there are many zombies what happens when the blade gets stuck or you have to yank it out. It is inefficient and there are many much better weapons for killing a zombie. Slashing and bludgeoning weapons are the way to go.
