I agree schools should never have been touched..but I do think that all government workers (state and fed) should pay into SS and stop getting crazy pensions and very cheap health insurance premiums normal people don't get. It should not be a free ride at our expense. Their pay and benes need to be brought in line with private industry. GOV needs to focus on efficiencies and stop threatening taking away services.

The gay marriage issue should be up to voters in my view, not courts.

Actually Romney was wonderful. I don't know who you were listening to, but Romney worked for the taxpayers trying to create effiencies wherever he could..regardless of the scare tactics used by the other side. He came to office with a 3 BILLION dollar gap and left us with a nice rainy day fund..until Deval got a hold of it.

People making up to 150,000 rupees dont pay taxes at all, and 150k there is a pretty decent salary there. Even if you make up to 300,000 rupees, which is putting you in the middle class pay only 10%. India's highest tax bracket is 30%, and in India they dont even have state taxes
