Also - I've seen a video of a place that heats it's water with a compost pile and the water is rain water that is filtered through carbon for cleaning out the nasties. Free water and heat for showers outdoors. Pretty cool if you ask me!
@MrPaka420 a mushroom farm huh, that sounds like a pretty interesting job, you should make a video talking about that...I'd watch :) The trip was fun, never long enough though right, hope you find something out here in the desert :)
How often do you wet it down? i'm thinking of trying one again after my last one years and years ago failed . I started a raised bed garden and had to buy compost . that stuffs really gone up when I worked at hd it was $3.98 per 3 CF now it's $6.59 per 3 CF. Anyways looks great !
@bluediamond2077 During the winter not very much at all, maybe once every two weeks depending on how much juicer scraps I throw in. In the summer I'll wet it down every 5-7 days, maybe 2x week if we stay 115+ for mulitple days in a row. Congrats on the garden! It's hard for me to make enough compost at home, but it all helps.
