  • Also - I've seen a video of a place that heats it's water with a compost pile and the water is rain water that is filtered through carbon for cleaning out the nasties. Free water and heat for showers outdoors. Pretty cool if you ask me!

  • Narly! LOL! Mine does that from the tumbler from time to time, but I have to work to keep it moist. Good stuff brotha!

  • Nice, stick your hand in it! No No don't do it, I worked in a mushroom farm and turned sugar cane leaves and stalks I swear it was a fore in three.

How was your trip? Pm me.

    Peace

  • @MrPaka420 a mushroom farm huh, that sounds like a pretty interesting job, you should make a video talking about that...I'd watch :) The trip was fun, never long enough though right, hope you find something out here in the desert :)

  • @ArizonaAdventures still looking

  • That is so neat ! Thanks for sharing =D

  • @4GreenEarth2 thanks for watching :)

  • Isn't it funny how compost steam can make us gardeners so excited?!!

  • @chikkagrl I know right haha that is so true :)

  • @chikkagrl I know right haha that is so true :)

  • How often do you wet it down? i'm thinking of trying one again after my last one years and years ago failed . I started a raised bed garden and had to buy compost . that stuffs really gone up when I worked at hd it was $3.98 per 3 CF now it's $6.59 per 3 CF. Anyways looks great !

  • @bluediamond2077 During the winter not very much at all, maybe once every two weeks depending on how much juicer scraps I throw in. In the summer I'll wet it down every 5-7 days, maybe 2x week if we stay 115+ for mulitple days in a row. Congrats on the garden! It's hard for me to make enough compost at home, but it all helps.

  • Compost happens.....except in colorado right now.....right now it is frozen.

  • @ktrain420247 oh man! I have never had to fight the snow or frozen ground before for gardening.

  • How stinky is it?

  • @sonnysand it smells great almost like apples or like an earthy freshness type smell. hard to explain, lol

  • Thumbs Up! - Great job.

  • @commando602 thanks!
