I am a viola and though rather not fond of any Violin Solo pieces (I feel they sound empty) have heard this piece before and this was by far the most full and precise sounding I have heard

@Peter0414 I watched the one with 2,000 views. Overall, you have clean technique, but it seemed mechanical, especially when you end phrases. They just kind of end abruptly or not at all, running directly into the next idea. I mean, you were 12, so that's not such a massive problem, since you'll work with your teacher to develop style to communicate musical ideas. You've got a lot of potential! Good luck!

You're welcome :) I really wish I could play like you! You are amazing! I'm 12 and I play violin along with a few other instruments (violin is my 1st instrument) but I am not nearly as good as you! What grade are you on? I'm on grade 6 on violin and 7 on viola.

OMG!!! Huge improvement!! Your bow hand looks great. I like this accompanist more. I just put a ton of comments on your Vieuxtemps video, but you've already fixed many of these things if not all of them. Props to you!!! You sound wonderful!

One comment (I'm a violin teacher. I have to say something). Something I've recently struggled with myself. Try placing your jaw on the chin rest- your violin will sit higher, but it will be less likely to slide down from your shoulder. Just a suggestion.

Okay so since your young like me (I'm thirteen) I think it would really be neat if you could give me a bit of advice on my bowing. I cannot for the life of me match up my bow perfectly with my fingers when I play faster music. So since yours seems pretty clean I'm curious if there's any special exercise you do to make sure it is clean?
