  • thanks a lot , Mr Ducanin

  • Hi Mr Ducanin, And Thanks a lot for your effortive videos.

I wanted to know that I always say Fanx am i making any sense by saying Fanx instead of thanks in accent case ?

  • thanks a lot

  • thank u verey much

  • Im learning some english, Im from Catalonia, and I cannot understand what is the meaning of "bundle". Thanks a "bundle"... can somebody explain to me how to use this word in another sentence? I'll really appreciate it :) oh, and you are "kind"... is like saying: "you are so nice" or something like that?

    bye!

  • a bundle hasa literal meaning of a group of things all as one. In this way he is greatful in many ways. Although the term has deformed slightly and is now taken as meaning alot!

and yes "kind" is a little like "nice" although "kind" is a more specific term meaning thoughtful.

  • thanks a bundle! lol

    I really appreciate that, bye!

  • "Bundle" means a group of something, or alot of something. So saying "Thanks a bundle" basically means "Thanks alot" and kind means generous, nice etc. "You're too kind" can also be "You're too generous." Hope this helps.

  • this really helps, thanks!

  • This is very useful.

You have such a nice accent and I did not expect you to be wearing a cute T-shirt.

  • Thanks a bundle!

  • you are the best " my mommy said

  • you are the best ' i really love your t-shirts lol

  • good job edris

  • I'm overwhelmed

  • ohh, thanks a lot!

  • Thank you for your lessons.

  • i never heared the word TA

    thank u Mr.duncan

  • Why wouldn't you just say,"Thank You"? That sums everything up.... Thank you.

  • thanks ever so much and i wonder that how could i ever repay you

  • lol. Dunno about saying ta very much. Usually just say "ta".

  • l'm very grateful you aou are the best

  • "Ta" sounds so Scandinavian *LOL* I never knew it was an actual way of saying thanks in English...

  • Yes 'Ta' is an actual way of saying 'Thank you'. Used commonly in England and originally used in northern towns and cities. But can be heard in other countries too, Used sometimes for a humorous or funny effect.

    (Misterduncan)

  • TA very much ??? whats thaaaat

  • thanx..

i think youcare about details like changing dress and so wishing youthe best

  • i think some of these thank yous are just for big favors

  • I don't know what to say

  • I`d like to ask what`s with Ta very much? :S

    never heard

    any info wud be appreciated

    thnx

  • u r t best.taaaaaaaaa nk you.

  • u r the best

  • I mean no offense by this, but Americans don't use most of the phrases in this video, or at least not very often. I assume "Ta very much" is British because I have never heard it in my life, while phrases like "I am indebted to you" are overly formal in most situations. In America, a simple "Thank you" will suffice most of the time. In the case where someone has done something VERY helpful, you could say "Thank you so (or very) much!".

  • I understand that American and British are quite different, especially in common everyday expressions such as giving thanks. At least, this is the case between Spanish in America and Spanish in Europe, so I think this video should be watched from a "British perspective" so to say...

  • I was simply giving advice for anyone who is going to be in a situation involved with Americans

  • @Nanashi123 Who really gives a shit if you Americans don't use most of the phrases in this video. This is an English lesson. These phrases are used in England.

  • @iliekvans this video is meant to teach someone who doesn't speak English how to say thank you, and, whether you like it or not, many people move to America due to work or other reasons; these people probably want to learn, in that case, phrases said in America. If they said all of the things in this video, they would get some strange looks, so I think they should know that there is a regional difference in vocab here. Saying that they shouldn't just because you dislike America is just ignorant.

  • @Nanashi123 No shit, I know what the video is about. If somebody was planning on moving to the US, why wouldn't they just go look for 'American-English' tutorial?

Besides, the lesson is taught by a fluent ENGLISH man.

I never said I 'disliked' America.

  • @iliekvans First of all, saying no one gives a shit what someone thinks means you dislike them. And second of all, the title of the video is just says English, it doesn't say British English. It's ambiguous; since you seem to lack the capacity to understand the meaning of words, that means that it doesn't clarify the dialect. It could just be Standard English, or it could be American or British. Most teachers would just teach Standard, regardless of nationality, so it doesn't matter he's English

  • i appreciate it ! cheers.......

  • I'm very grateful

  • =) how can i ever repay you? thx for all!!!

  • Thanks alot!

  • btw you dont have to say it like he does with so much emphasis. you could end up sounding sarcastic.

  • You are the best............

  • mister duncan what does i am very indebted to you mean?

i am from germany and actually i speak and understand english very well but i have never heard the word indebted

  • indebted means that you owe them a debt or in this case it means you are very thankful and hope to repay their kindness in the future.
