  • Tom Green goes wing chun

  • vedi la dfferenza tra me e te? :D

  • spiega il sesto e il settimo grado alievo giusto?

  • Sergio needs to learn Kung Fu his technique is horrible. These students just respect him to much, they would beat him if they had more confidence.

  • well he looks like a mint teacher too me . you can see them learning , and how could he not teach them without using a little force ?

  • tbh he is stylish agressive but he is effective...there is no real danger in his hit...i agree that masters should be more...well calm i guess..but considering its a stage and having seen other videos with is students i really would like to learn something from him! even bean beaten!

  • this guy can not be sifu his technique is horrible. Wing Tsun doesnt use the thumbs in that way , this guy is mixing kenpo Karate. Im sorry to put him on the spot but he is so wrong. thats kenpo he could get his wrist broken with such bad technique.

  • If I am not mistaken, such chi-sao-drills are nothing for white-shirts, but this seems to be the new way of `teaching´. In the end, the one who is training here, seems to be sifi sergio! The students learn about feeling real wingchun coming to them, understanding how much there is to do...

  • @11Kralle Basically this tecnik(if i am also not mistaken) is to make it when the enemy is in tension and never when he is relaxed. So it is not bad also for a beginner(so he can anderstand the diference between soft and hard).Truth is that u can'learn wc without feel it on u in a degree. If u train too soft, u will have false view of your abilities. It is like every art.If u are not get hit, wrestled or anything how u will feel uncomfortable so to react your body?Thank u..Peace

  • @dlvt79

One must understand - there is no enemy in a training-situation.

  • @11Kralle YES,yes, yes! And u will learn with the holly spirit...Training means someone attack and someone defence etc..U play with words..I know one..in my country we say no pain..no gain..If u have a magic way to teach without pushing please tell me..But people who dont push alittle bit their students, the last never learn..

  • @dlvt79

It depends on what you are going to learn. We have a spelling here too `Pain is the best teachers´. Wingchun is mainly developed to defend stronger and greater opponents - some people forget about that. Nevertheless, the shown students havent got control over their actions at all and it needs a WC-master like Sifu Sergio to cope with that. I know a magic way to learn (diligence), but not to teach. WC-Training consist in pracise of the little things. Fights are a common fault in Chi-Sao!

  • @11Kralle I train myself in two ways in chisao..First soft and smooth looking the details, trying to relax and the second which is more fighting and realistic.I think both are needed.Chisao anyway is needed to become better in the fight,or else we would not practise on it

  • @dlvt79

But do you `fight´ your teacher in the same manner like you do with a beginner? I mostly do form-training (2 hours a day) which is i.m.O. the most important for the aspects of getting/keeping health. Chi-Sau drills I do once a week for ca. 4 hours. Lat-Sao or a free form of fighting excercise I do as often someone from other martial arts invites me. I never do harder fights with other wingchun-pupils, because there is no way of getting beyond that peculiar wc-knowledge.

  • @dlvt79

It depends to your chi-sao partner! If hes equally good, applying your method would be appropriate. If hes much better the realistic way will hurt you and train him more than yourself. If your much better, you have got to reduce the fighting parts to controls and checks, even some chain-punches on the chest. Dont get me wrong: Sifu Sergio earned that yellow shirt, but he should not humiliate beginning students by filming.

  • Im not trying to gloat but i would be able to beat the majority of his students, they have steady tension and i would lop sao and borrow their energy all day.Their chi sao also seems tense, since im more relaxed my pacs and laps will land because he's to tense to read my attack.

  • they only contact with hand you need to beat the other guy sense less that's how u learn to fight

  • How can the student possibly learn by tension and having sergio just dominate him? Not good.

  • @mysticpiggyx this is a video demonstration by the master, so the student is more or less a dummy....this has nothing to do with his teaching methods

  • @mysticpiggyx its always the best to train against the best no matter what you do..you can reflect on what happened after it

  • @mysticpiggyx yes he needs to lose the ego so the student can relax and actualy learn something. he looks so scared, pointless. wingchun is about technic and structure with out all the strenght and rigidness ans mental stress, really not good

  • @mysticpiggyx

One learns the most from defeat.

  • @mysticpiggyx Because Sifu is not tense. That's where difrence lies. Yo can learn from someone who is not tense better.

  • @mysticpiggyx

he just dominate him,not hit him hard like the WT idiots. he is the master and belive me you learn...

  • I have trained Wing Chun with Si Fu Dobrin Vassilev who was student of Leun Ting.

Later we had a seminars with Si Fu Nick Smart. Now i study with Si Fu Nikolay Pechanov in Sofia, Bulgaria. Never seen such a "Master" like one on this video, who wants only to demonstrate not to teach...

  • @joro78now

I think that's jumping the gun. Demonstration is an important teaching tool. I can't understand what he is saying, but he frequently stops to say something and his student's nod in response, so he is obviously explaining and correcting along the way.

  • They all seem so tense. True masters are calm and calculated

  • Youngest Master

One of the stars of the Wing Tsun world, Si-Fu has set a number of records. These include:

    • Youngest person in the UK to independently open a school

    • Youngest male in the world to achieve 3rd Technician Grade (equivalent to 4th Dan)

    • Opened the first ever full-time Chinese Wing Tsun school in Western Europe

  • too much tension, no real control

  • strano questo chi sao!!!

  • it all looks a little ''flubby'

  • jejeejejej muy bueno shifu sergio, contra la gente que se dedica a agarrar haciendo chi-sao....muy bueno si señor

  • i got lesson from his school in amsterdam he was there all the time pretty amazing!

its a pitty i could not affort it its high priced but worthed

  • I once saw a kung fu student wearing a t-shirt during training that had the F word on it (as I recall). Since it was not frowned upon, I decided against this school. But there were more things.

  • @colaFRank the f word? flatulencia?

  • @NiklasNydahl Nah. I wasn't talking about the IWKA btw.

  • It's always awesome with sifu sergio, but someone teach the grey shirt standing beside sifu some kungfu etiquette! crossing arms is traditionally disrespectful if you arent a master, but also..infront of sifu sergio! *smacks head* aye yi yi...

  • hehe...

My sifu mentioned that to me.

Also when sitting in front of a master, don't point the soles of you'r feet or(bottom of shoes) @ him..

Cross you'r legs or place the soles on the floor.

My sifu didn't care about this things, but some do.

He warned us about little things like that before Dai sifu came to visit.

    :)

  • It's good to keep the tradition, because it comes with the art:)

  • Sifu Sergio questi video sono semplicemente fantastici.. dovresti postarne di piu'.
