Training with live birds is ok as longs as they are not game birds. You can use pigeons for this purpose. Your dog should be introduce to several species of live birds to ensure a sucessful forced fetch retrieve.
hey there well i know that thee is a way to train a lab to set or point mine will pause for a sec an never get too far a head but won't completely hold do you have anything on this for me just to make it a little easier on me

good vid, though training it to retrieve it to retrieve with live birds is just going to encourage to to peg them in the field!
