This band made me the conscious person I am today. I had a speech in sophomore English class to do, and it was about all the "wrongs" and corruption in the advertising business, rather than what all the other students did. My teacher said that I'm "wise beyond my years", and I have to thank Enter Shikari for opening me up.

Can't wait for tomorrow's Chicago show! My second concert, and second time seeing Shikari! :)

Because they have such a diverse audience, the array of social levels they can potentially educate is vvvast, and that's what they do, they educate.

Also you have to remember that taking shit like war and politics too seriously on camera would probably prove too heavy for a lot of fans that aren't in on it. Nobody likes a crusader.

I disagree. I think the government bailouts were wrong. I believe that some of the companies they gave bailouts to should have not been saved. I know that the auto companies provide many jobs but if say Ford were to fail, i'm pretty sure another car company would be created, thus providing work again. I agree with Obama on health care, but not his handling of this crisis.

Yes, the banks and government have mucked up big time, but that doesnt mean the capitalist system doesnt work- look at america, its the richest country in the world. what are u talking about? its free to demostrate, the speakers spoke for free, the banners etc are made by individuals or organisations such as friends of the earth - gets there name out there, thats why they pay for that. The stage might have been loaned to them for a good cause or they may have had to buy it. The organiser might have had to pay for the samba band but who knows, maybe not. so overall it wouldnt have cost thousands...
