To all of you who think this is fake I can personally tell you it's not. It just happened to me again yesterday. All you have to do to fix this is:

1. Take the faceplate off.

2. Tape down the eject button.

3. Replace the faceplate. *Note that none of the buttons will work so you have to use your controller to turn it on, eject a disk, etc., etc.

I always thought i bumped a controller or something, but today: no controllers plugged in, and it just turned on. Turned on and it kept opening and closing the xbox quick dash thing, and switching to: "if you turn off xbox, controllers will turn off too, are you sure?"

Same thing is happening to mine. I looked up info on it and it is corrosion of the power traces on the 360 motherboard. you have to have someone open it up and either clean the power traces or have someone replace them with soldering iron.

At first I thought it might be someone doing it remotely throught he network because when I would check it, it would be ont he media extender page. But I now unplug it from the network when I go to bed. Still happening.
