Why else did banks stop giving a decent interest rate on saving accounts. What ever happened to the concept of people saving money and paying cash? All you see on TV is commercials about payment plans and finance charges. If the government would quit cutting interest rates maybe people would put some money into banks (savings) and then the banks could lend money to businesses that need money. Wow, what a concept. Screw the Wall Street investors! They are just gambling so let them loose their money like gamblers should.

haha yeah man! I switched off the tv about 10 years ago, this system does not work & will not work, they are creating another panic with the economy right now, they're talking about creating a super bank here in England (as if it doesn't already exist). People don't understand in order to be rich, some must be poor. This system divides, we don't even know the people who live next to us. 'The Planet' & 'The 11th Hour' also reminds how governments are just there to make policies to protect the corporations who enslave the people & destroy the natural world (which provides us with the real quality of life). We will all get more angry when more freedom is taken away from us. As resources dwindle society won't just decay slowly, I'd say it's more likely for the predator nations to attack.
