Totally true - but if you look at first season Next Gen it's over the top - watch The Last Outpost, they take a meeting every two seconds in that one! Still it gives me a chance to do these Staff Meeting vids - of which there will be more!
I reckon the only reason they did this in the first season is because every episode had about two staff conferences per act! It was insane the amount of time in early eps taken up with these meetings!
true but i think it was done to get the feel that next gen was the "thinking" crew. Kirk was leader, no questions asked. No one ever got consulted. Here Picard leads, but, he also trusts the others.
I liked the other one a lot better.
