  • i was listening to a song during this, and the two were playing in the same key (as far as i could tell) and the exact same tempo. crazy

  • Too much shredding! Not enough soul! Cool guitar though.

  • @MoviesFromG soul doesnt resides in blues only mate....

  • MAKE YOUR OWN BRAND!!!!!

  • @rcboals hahahah a fifteen year old punk can do it? Bro look up some malmsteen, if that aint good enough for ya then look up some muhammed suicmez. It aint easy. It takes me weeks to write one good song. And thats without any drum tracks or bass runs cause i dont have the bucks to afford recording software. Its better than that twangy voice i always hear in country music. You diss my genre, i diss yours.

  • pure genius! :)

  • Srbi prave najbolje gitare!

    Serbians make best guitars! :)

  • @ouija93 Hahaha. Tako je :)

  • hahahaaaaaaaa jelovo drvo svaka cast care najbolji si :D

  • how's the fret access on it?

  • @Chrono0210 Easily adjustable, just take a saw and chop off some bits that get in your way.

  • @babanadopu Mate seriously...post also a video of you playing some clean stuff in order to shut up some pretentious fools that talk about tone woods and Unicorns.

  • @rcboals haha You reminded me of when I was a bit younger, I did actually play a Chet Atkins tune, I'm not sure which (maybe freight train) and I actually did it on this same 'guitar', while riding a bicycle... I now regret for not having that stunt captured on video.

And if I should play some western country, why wouldn't you play some eastern Balkan ethno? Like Zoran Starcevic? and see how you sound.

    Cheers!

  • @rcboals My favorite part of this comment is the fact that he believes that shredded distortion riffs don't actually use real notes.

  • Is it warping at all?

  • @babanadopu Thats actually fairly impressive. Ima use this sort of idea to build my next cigar box guitar, but I plan on mounting the bridge somewhere on the box itself to hopefully give it better tone, the same way a semi hollow does.

  • @williamthomasmi10 Thank you. Then do post a video response when you complete it :)

  • i have a question, can i know how you were able to connect one pick up with out any pot?

  • @MagicAce09 Easy, just connect the pickup to the output :)

  • you sir are freally good

  • @WorldHasToChange Why thank you, sir...

  • Absolutely EPIC

  • FTW! :D

  • This video is full of win

  • YOU'RE ROCKS!! XD

  • this thing can't be intonated.

much better if it had a TOM bridge or something with saddles.

  • @gunlak It has a cheapo floyd rose now - fixed of course :)

  • @babanadopu ah, saw a vid of your guitar w/ the floyd. very nice. :)

  • that was a vintage guitar, coz it is made in a vintage wood... lol ^_^

  • Can u play something "clean"? ;-)

  • @guitarkeef I hope I will finally find some time to do that :/ Have to do some mods first ;)

  • I'd call this the Les(s) Money. =D

  • That was awesome!

  • cool sound! And cool haircut too...

  • cuj, dva dislajka!! hahah!!!

  • @Hetera86 jbg, Deso neki ne mogu da podnesu istinu :D

  • however tone in an electric is 90 percent pick ups and fingers

  • its played through a digital line 6 amp its gonna sound the same regardless through a digital signal put it on clean through a class a tube amp and you will here a difference.

  • tonewoods are bullshit. (for the most part)

    this sounds great.

  • OMG!!!

  • I'd want to hear it in a clean sound too :D

This inspired me to build myself a guitar out of my spare parts too :D

  • @MegaThunderfire I'm gonna make a clean sound video very soon, because there is a lot of people who would like to hear it without distortion. Some of them believe that this only sounds good because of high gain, or an amp with modeling... I'm going to try to prove that they were wrong ;)

I'm glad that this video had some positive effect on you :)

  • How about a tutorial on how you put it together!??

  • And I would buy a Firebird X why? Thank you for showing Henry J up. You rock dude!

  • @blahcjd Thanks!

  • jbg,ali vrat je pravi napravi ti od palete vrat e onda si majstor :D

  • @mattacuk Thanks man!

  • dobar dobar :D

  • @Eklarion Hvala :)

  • Haaaaahahahaaaaa,Les Pallete....kakvi ste kraljevi!!!!!

  • Very portable indeed. I wonder how many of those you could fit into a normal guitar case?

  • Nuclear waste ?

then, don't put it between the legs.

Great playing and awesome sound !!

    Keep On Rocking

  • what's the song at 0:23???

tell me more about the rhythm...thx

  • @damigo0 Hey, its some riff I made just before making this vid :)

Maybe I should make a song out of it...

  • What song at 2:22? thanks

  • @aggression99 Thank you!

  • one of the better vids on youtube

    props homie

  • @thuymoney thanks!

  • HEY THIS IS JUST CRAZY!!!!WELL DONE TO YOU PERFECT JOB!!! I HAVE THE SAME AMP.WHAT SETTINGS DID YOU USE???

  • @piggassos actually that was not my amp, some friend asked me to fix it. I did some random settings, really don't remember.

    Cheers!

  • That guitar is made of WIN

  • @Grecian92 hehe thanks!

  • I was surprised at how much sustain this puppy has but I'm wondering, How is the sustain without overdrive/distiortion?

  • @101Volts Since it is the amp's built in distortion, no compressor, or such thing, you might say that it is not far from that. but again, strings are really old, down tuned lower than they are supposed to be. as soon as I have more time I will make a vid to demonstrate the Plank Paul on clean ;)

  • I have to say I am impressed. I am always telling people you do not have to spend 1000s to get a guitar with a good sound! I am sure it probably sounds even better in person Vid camera's mics do not pick up true sound.

What amp are you playing it thru?

  • @johnro6659 Hey thanks :) It is line6 spider IV 300. Sounds really good in live.. never tried it on a bigger amp, but I use it for recording ;)

  • I don't know anything about building guitars so sorry if this is a stupid question; but how did you get the intonation and the action right?

  • @lobyte Neck straightness or relief (Adjusted by the truss rod) Comes first followed by the action. Intonation comes last as its effected by the previous two things. You adjust the action either by adjusting the saddles or by adjusting the overall height of the bridge. And you adjust the intonation by moving the saddles back and forth, Either closer to the neck or farther away from it. Part 1 (See next comment)

  • @101Volts And it is recommended that when intonating a guitar you set the saddles as far away from the neck as they'll go prior to string installation or adjusting the action. You also need to either let the strings rest 24 hours before intonating or you have to stretch them because new strings (Just like old strings) Don't hold their tuning well enough to intonate with. (Part 2, See part 3)

  • @101Volts Adjusting the saddles as far away from the neck as possible prior to string installation prevents kinks in the string from effecting the tuning. Anyway, Even if you stretch the strings enough you should leave the guitar sit for a day anyway so the neck gets used to the strings. (Neck straightness is effected by string tension) (Part 3, end) If you have any questions or would like a shorter version of this please reply.

  • Dobar video, kao neki filmic :)

  • @biljana144 hvala, seko ;)

  • Well, looks like one of my project guitars is going back to the drawing board... You are certainly not lacking in skill sir, great idea...

  • @togglenuts hehe Thank you, sir ;)

  • OMG I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO EAT OR SLEEP SINCE WATCHING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • @jeremywilson15147 One million dollars $) No, it is priceless really :D
