Well, if I can help . . contouring is basically shadowing your face in certain places .. So, you can't really contour with a concealer that is lighter. BUT! you can highlight with your concealer :) hope this helped!

I always have a problem with the flick, it never looks the same on both eyes so I end un taking a bit off with a q-tip and making a mess. I've tried an angled brush, a thinner angled brush, a thin brush (which sucked). I really think a good brush is the answer. Also, I find it hard to actually line the eye. Sometimes I go higher in the middle in one eye which I find flattering because it makes the eye look bigger but then it looks flatter on the other grrrr....

just curious - having deep eyesockets like yours wouldn't it look nicer if you wouldn't pull out and up that far in such a thick line so it doesn't buckle at the outer end of your crease once you open your eye fully? used to see that a lot on teenage girls during late 80's early 90's. it looks a little strange that way - no offense just personal opinion

@PuggyLuvr if you want fully white eye shadow try eye primer (if you haven't already) then on top of the primer use a white eye liner as a base (all over desired area) then apply white eye shadow!

@brookexhaley prepare your lids before-hand with an oil control primer and set it with a translucent powder. I have very oily lids and I started using Revlon's Colorstay foundation for Oily/Combo skin. I put that on my eyelids, then use a primer and that is enough to keep my oily lids at bay, but if your's needs more oil control then use the powder after the foundation and primer. I personally think its the foundation that has made the biggest difference.

@kjkosschuk exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate... if you have lots of dry spots when you put anything on such as concealer or foundation chances are its because you have a lot of dead skin cells that have not been sloughed off. I just got a great exfoliator from Ulta its made by Boots called No.7 Total Renewal Micro-Dermabrasion and its hypo-allergenic. It was on the expensive side for my tastes at 14.99 a tube, but well worth it. No more dry looking face for me. Yay!

@bsh2117 i don't know if you'll see this cuz its been about a month, but I have the same problem where my eye is too far in the socket. What I do is look straight on at the mirror and make a dot where i want the wing to end. Then go back and look down and pull at the side of my lid a little so i can make that straight line like Kandee showed. I start from the dot and go in. Try that when you're doing the wing and see if it works better. good luck!

@LadyTrippylips you have to cross across your face with your hand to do one eye which makes it harder to reach perfection, the eye that you do good you most likely arent crossing across your face, it takes A LOT of practice to get both eyes good.

What do you think about the Smashbox eyeliner brush #21, it's also bent. It's $20 which doesn't seem too expensive, but you can but it with makeup on sites like qvc.com, a set that comes with gel eye liner, lip gloss and bronzer/iluminator for $48 and another set of 8 brushes and gel liner for $40.

Have you used that brush or the brand before? It seems like a good deal, but I'll wait to hear from you first.
