why don't you go and look at all those series games? like Age of Empires, Warcraft, Warhammer, hell, even Warhammer 2 is still same as original Warhammer series. just better graphic and new systems. You can't really expect total new things from sequels. Battlefield, Rainbow Six, Half Life....all these are just better graphics with some new materials. (the problem is, their graphics rule the world)
