I think that progressing this operation would be interesting. However, I would be concerned about having my body stolen and used to keep someone alive. Body parts that can be transplanted have a certain value associated with them. Even now I could be abducted, have my kidney stolen, and wake up in a bath tub full of ice ... if they were compassionate. They could just kill me out right after.

My suggestion would be to advance stem cell research. Create a body, but without a brain so no murder.
