He's actually 6'1, 190lbs, which makes his accomplishment even more incredible. But he must continue to grow significantly to be a force at senior. Even if he remained 6'1, he would need to put on a good 50lbs(like Nelson) to be competitve. Ulf Timmerman also had tree trunks for legs and weighed a small woman more :)

@jonesy77777 Well, he's already throwing 18.50> with the senior shot, so it looks like he will be able to transition to world class senior - possibly even in time for London. As for size, well, the other two on the world junior podium were much bigger, and it didn;t help them. It'd be quite nice to see him stay a small-ish guy and whup the big ones anyway.

what's crazy is he isn't even very big for a 100m runner, let alone a world class junior shot put competitor. I just hope his growth doesn't stall so we can see how good he can become.
