As a general rule of thumb, nvr touch the lens! :)

Btw, Gigabits and Gigabytes are different. 8 bits = 1 byte,

and electronics specifications usually comes in ___bytes,

and thus u might have made a mistake with ur pronunciation.

Ummm, yeah...I took intro to computers too! But I passed... 8 bits=1 byte, while 1,024 bytes = 1 mb... Same holds true for mb to gb conversion; 1,024 mb = 1 gb. In the future, do your research before trying to impress someone. All you did was embarrass yourself insulting somebody else. ROFL

Yes, people don't realise that these cheaper models don't actually give 'true' 1080, but rather a lower pixel-size image which is then interpolated up to 1080.

Toshiba were caught doing that with their Camileo range a while back, when they were amongst the cheapest 720p camcorders around.

Sure, it's HD when you aren't zoomed in at all. The problem with "DIGTAL ZOOM" is that all it does is simply enlarge a portion of the image.... a REAL camera provides you with OPTICAL ZOOM which actually adjusts the lenses to provide a higher magnification.

No point even calling it "HD" since it's not 720p, and produces a grainy image! "HD" in this case is a buzz word. Save you money for something better!
