  • so after moving out of home i need my own tablet >.> just wondering how you use this without a picture on screen ? ( i'm not professional i just enjoy drawing )

  • I just buy one from amazon.com then came here watching you video right now.

When i get my will be more questions about it from you O k,,

  • 8:40 am I the only one who laughed at you're a big drawer? :'D

  • best review so far

  • Nick vegas!

  • does it support touch ? ? ?

  • @sdhruv95 Nope...

  • Hey...I like the way you talk :)..and your video!

  • awesome, thanks for this good video!

  • dududududude i was sooo in love with intous and yes i did buy one ... today just bought it and finished installation :P ... lol ... hi 5....and yea i saw your review :P ...peace

  • is this the a6 version?

  • @gr3shan its the small version(cuz it has 6 buttons)

  • @gr3shan yes it is the smallest version

  • Hi i am planing to buy one next week but small one . Someone suggested to buy bamboo create it has more Active area , The active area is great for bamboo , but i really need more pressure level . the question is , Should i go with intous4 or bamboo create ?

I don't know if the small active area will effect my creativity . Thanks

  • @jamalanimation You should get the bamboo create. The guy was right it does have active area but the pressure level is actually similar to the intuos4. When your actually drawing on it you dont notice. The intuos is really disturbing because the usb cable gets loose like really loose. I recommend the bamboo create so far my favorite tablet

  • @superchasen9 Thanks a lot , i will think about it , Thanks again , have a happy new year

  • Am-bee-dext-rous is how I've always said it. Great review! Thank you so much, it helped me pick my new tablet.

  • Great presentation you did, very helpful.

  • Whack-em tablet :P I always said Way-com.

  • Drawing with such tablets like intuso/bamboo is ridicolous. Time consuming and you'll never be able to draw to your full potential. You're better off buying the new MOUSE pen's, $50 that allow you to have as much space as you want to which is your entire table. Unlike wacom which charges you about $400 for a full size tablet.

  • @besttabletinworld Those might be okay for scribbling notes to yourself, but if you're a digital artist, you're going to have to pony up. I've been using a Medion (50$), but now that I'm getting a little better as an artist, I'm noticing that with the relatively low LPI/pressure sens. I can't get the values I want in my drawings without "cheating" with opacity etc. The pens you're selling (I'm assuming) are 50$ for a reason. Compare the specs -- worlds apart.

  • what programs you use to paint

  • Yes, finally a layman's no BS review! Thank you.

    Scroll wheel brush size! Awesome.

  • i have a three but i really want the 5 cause it has a really nice screen

  • :) nice video. I am going to buy it!

  • hey - want to sell your Intuos 3 then? :)

  • well it took 2 yrs but I now have one! Thank you for your review!

  • Lees mijn verslag op vvvvvv.brittniekerk.nl/wacom_intuos4_pen_tablet/

  • am-buh-dex-tree-us is how you say it....

  • This is the small version?

  • @adiphoto yes because only the small comes with two cables. The medium and larger ones just have one.

  • @danradl Cool. Thanks. I have the bamboo pen at this time. The small version of intuos seems larger than the bamboo pen. Thanks again for the response.

You can check my photography work @ vvvvvv.adrianzaharoa.ro

  • this is the corect link for my website: vvvvvv.adrianzaharia.ro

  • @danradl these things work on pc?

  • @GeneralGrievous10 Thats what it says on the box :D

  • @danradl thanks :D, U know i just gt insulted for commenting on a video that it is pretty nice and ur friendly little smile face makes me feel better, I can actually imagine u smiling... :D :D

  • Awesome review :D just ordered one to replace my brand new but faulty bamboo pen&touch :(

  • Thank you! I've been browsing forever for a deasent review of this tablet. Youes is the mini tablet, right? A question though, is it win7 compatible? At my local dealer it was only vista, mac and XP(!) listed as compatible systems, but the medium size tablet clearly said win7. I hope it just was a typo as i only need the small tablet. Thanks again :-)

  • thanx nick

  • Can someone please tell me the difference between the Intuos4 and the Bamboo tablet? I really want to make sure I buy the right one. Thank you.

  • @Ketsado pressure...

  • @Ketsado Bamboo is also a touchpad in addition to a pen tablet

  • @rohandelivera so the intuos doesnt respond to touch?

  • @Ketsado only on the touch ring. The entire bamboo is a touch pad as well.

  • you dont know how to draw?? yiu just buy this cause you like to scroll the pages with that weel?

  • @Sergio0Oo i bought my tablet before i even liked drawing xd

  • I bought myself the intuos4 small and I like it.

  • Which size should I but for non-professional use? Small or medium?

  • @MetalNewcomers they both have all the same features

medium is 2 more inches on the active pad while $130 more expensive

it all depends on whats affordable for you, i might add the small one is also more portable

  • They should've made a bigger active area to accommodate that big frame -.-

  • What about the pen preassure?

  • My Intuos4 is on it's way. Do you know of a backpack that has a suitable pocket for this and a laptop? I know there is not one specifically made for an Intuos, but do you know of one that works?

  • @drumguyrobc Northface Mainstream.

  • @iCxLegion Thanks, I appreciate it. I'll check it out!

  • Thank you for the awesome demo! I just ordered mine just before finding your video.....I Can't Wait. Great Job.

  • this is the only review of a tablet that shows you drawing on it thanks!!!!!

  • @vvoseo Removed ...

  • I have the same keyboard as you :O

  • Is this the medium size tab?

  • @killzoomer Small size.

  • Just set mine up. Thanks for the tutorial!

  • Alternative to your scroll wheel.

Go to your website. Hit space! Just saying ;)

  • NICE! i love your review! it made me understand better.

  • @Azdtroy did you buy it? How are the nibs? do they wear out fast?

  • Buying one right now based on your review, you should be on a commission from Wacom.

  • Comment removed

  • So the tablet detects the pen so you don't have to look down?

  • Excellent review. Thanks.

  • Ordered one today after watching your review. Thanks for making this video! I am a lefty and that paper rotation feature sold me to it.

  • Hey guys i have a question, should i go for the bamboo or intuos4? thx

  • @jeehoondevil

For a start? Take a bamboo, if you really get into digital art, get a bigger intuos or cintiq, depending on your budget. Another advantage of the bamboo is that there are some with pen and touch interface, so they offer you touch gestures like that apple touch pad and the precision of a graphic tablet via the pen. Even when you upgrade to a intuos you may find the bamboo still useful for the touch interface.

  • I Liked this video! Thanks!

  • I want the medium intuos 4

  • The main reason you got this fairly expensive new graphic tablet is so you could scroll down a website ? Yep makes total sense :)

  • awesome

  • Thanks, now i know which wacom i'll buy! :)

  • Excellent review - thank you.

  • What size are you using A5 or A6?

  • so that's a small one? That's not a bad size... especially considering amazon has refurbished ones for 140 bucks...

great review man, best i've seen so far

  • Bought mine today, and it's already in the mail. I've used these at my uni, and I have to say, they are excellent pieces of hardware. Before now I have never had access to a tablet full time, and have had to work around my schedule in order to practice with one. When I saw that the Intuos 4 Medium was on sale for considerably less money than standard, I jumped on it. I don't foresee regretting that decision in the slightest.

  • thats a small one.. get a Medium one.. it has more better features.

  • thanks

  • Can you use wacom pen for modeling in maya ?

  • greasy Cheetos fingerprints

  • Great review, man, but the camera angle is awkward as all Hell.

  • Thanks so much for that indepth review. I'll be ordering mine at the end of the month and can't wait. This technology is totally new to me and I'm looking forward to embracing this amazing device!

  • so what if you are left handed. can you flip it upside dowm????

  • @Mr211chucky Yes you can its made to be ambidextrous :)

  • YAY! Just ordered one, and it should be coming in a few days. I also ordered Manga Studio EX4 and Photoshop with it! Sooo excited :D

  • Nice review! I wasn't gonna buy one because of the nib issue but I got a third party plastic cover and now it's fine. Much better pressure sensitivity in photoshop than the intuos 3.

  • how bad is scratching the active area? ive heard mixed reviews and do you know of anyway of protecting it?

  • -The LED button commands are also customizable :D

  • Super good review :)

  • Amazing review; getting the Large one in a few days!

  • question, to make a mark you press the pen down obviously, but how do you move you mouse or pointer along without touching the tablet, does it follow the pen or do you have to push a button? do understand what i am saying? plz help.

  • @Origamiman979 You can hover over it, like an inch - 2 inches away from the tablet, and it will act as a mouse to move where you want it to.

  • @29lalito1991 ok, thanks

  • what about the pen pressure?

  • how dare you smurfify your father!?

  • nice video...very informative

well i have a small query, i cannot rotate the canvas with the wheel...why??

    i use Intuos4 wireless

  • wow cant wait to get one!

  • That's a great review.Ty. I've never owned a tablet before and decided to save up for a intuos4 to spark my motivation to draw more. But I wasn't sure if I would get it lol. Your review explains a lot of the cool nifty options the tablet offers. My partner says I should go for a cintiq but those are way too expensive for a noob freelance illustrator T_T.

Btw I read some reviews of people complaining that the nibs have to be replaced sooner with the Intuos4 because of the new surface.

  • Great review! Wish I had the cash to buy one of these things... well, my Wacom Bamboo tablet will do for now I suppose.

  • Wack'em... Haha

  • its "walkem" not "Wackem"

  • @redpandaaa References?

  • @quartercherries wacoms youtube chanel. just listen to how they say it.

  • It's now 2011, when will Intuos5 Wacom Tablet be available?

    Great video! thanks!

  • I just bought one a few hours ago, and your review was just so helpful! Thanks a lot!

  • ha... niblets..

  • does anyone know if the intuos4 can be used to handwrite notes in word 2007 like the bamboo fun?

  • great representation of that ring.. thanx for review

  • Hi. How do you think this device would behave teaching maths? I mean, do this device would rener complex mathemathical formulae? Thanx in advance.

  • did you notice how hard the buttons are to push? I used the intuos3 and was used to the nice clicky soft touch of the buttons. I dont like at all how hard the buttons are to push!!! I swear I am using my whole arm to push the buttons.

  • I had to search for an hour before I could find a non-bullshit review. Thank you SO much. Also you should stop to eat before you use your tablet.

  • very nice review but if you dont mind i figured id point out a few things, i don't know if this applies to a mac but i used a wacom intuos 3 with windows and the scroll bar on it allowed me to scroll up and down on web pages, saying that it was very touchy though. Also if im not mistaken ambidextrous is pronounced ambi-dex-trus. Good video though this is my first time seeing one of your videos did you design your own website?

  • I'm gonna get the large one for my b-day =D

  • @ploekje13 Awesome! Are you an artist? Photographer? Good for you!

  • @jackies35 A little late response.. srry for that xD

Ofcourse I'm an incredibly talented artis *COUGH COUGH*

but my birthday isn't until july anyway.. so I'll probably have enough time to practice ^-^

  • I like your niblets.

  • Hey Nick, great introduction. I like the relaxed way how you describe your new device.

  • nice explain :) ... i question, can i use this into bodypaint on Cinema 4d?

  • On this tablet if you are drawing on it can you see your drawing on the tablet as well? and can you draw without having to hook it up to the computer?

  • @DrawingDazora No you can't

  • Q: how can i adjust the brush to make it look like a pencil?? :D

  • Thanks for a great review. Very useful. Personally I'm going for the medium sized tablet :D

  • To rotate in photoshop with the intuos4 do you have to enable openGL?

  • funny guy ;0)

  • @qeckoTV he is reviewing the small size.

  • On the medium and large versions they have a small display to the right of the button that says what the button does and can be custom.

  • Does the tablet come with a program(photoshop, flash, etc.)?

  • @iLuis08 It comes adobe photoshop elements for the medium and large version. They have diffrent packs that come with diffrent stuff.

  • @DemonAMVs Well the medium in my Best Buy costs over $300,while the small costs $200.

  • @iLuis08 You can get bundle packaged, I prefer the medium more then the small in this case as it has a few more features.

  • Do you have to plug it into the computer to use it?

  • @CupcakeMonsterrr Yes you need to install software for it, the software is free and comes with your intuos.

  • hi gorilla, thank you for taking the time showing us your experience. I just bought a intuos4 in the u.s.. Now I am home (in the netherlands) I am starting to know my tablet. It is something!

    thanks

    thanks

  • Hop! There's a smiley face! :D Ordered an intuos4 ^^

  • great review, love the detailed descriptions of all these functions. I had no idea about the detail mode or the difference in the tooth of the tablet surface. Ive got an intuos 3 already and Ive been holding off getting one. One question. how does the sensitivity improvement actual feel compared to the intuos 3? thats a major selling point for me as Ive heard its kind of hard to notice the difference despite it being doubled.

  • hahaha raisin brand

  • hahaha, niblets

  • is that the small

  • @cody125125125 they have different sizes.

  • yesss, i did buy one. You're review was wery helpfull

  • What's the size A6 or A5?

  • @bangsheep it has two buttons on the pen

  • Just one question left: Does the pen itself have buttons aswell?

    (PS: The beard is cool)

  • What else do i have to say?...I agree with the most of the other users comments here. Great review! And you just sold me a great tablet.

  • I think Im infatuated with you... your so freakin cute! :)

  • @thegobanana i am currently wondering wether or not i am going for the small or medium. therefor i wanted to ask you if there are any difference between the small and medium besides the LEDs and the size of course. also if you keep your pen levitated just a cm above the board will it act like an ordinary mouse?

  • I'll probably go large Intuos4 now. my small intuos3 brings no more new stuff for me.

  • great review helped me know all the features, thanks a lot!

  • Thanks for the review! This is amazing! I like how you relate the way people draw with the rotation command. Not much reviewers bring that up. Yours is very simple, which makes it very easy to understand. Again, thanks for the review and just from watching this, I think I'll go get one!

  • Ah, it´s the small, since the illuminated button description isn´t visible

  • Is this the small or middle sized tablet?

  • great review helped alot

  • 3 people have their tablets in their mouths and don't know how to plug them it.

  • amazing review!

  • I have one coming in a few days. Pretty excited. It's rare to find reviews this informative, so thanks for a great review.

  • awesome review! keep it up

  • great review and basic tutorial, though I found it quite funny that you don't use it to sketch anything day to day.. well, I guess they stopped calling them a drawing tablet for a reason.

    And its 'ambi-dex-truss' : )

  • great review... more like a tutorial so thank you very much. Mine's in the post as we speak and i'm sooooo excited!

  • let me ask all those wackthem users. What benefit does a wedding photog have to use this with PS? I don't need sketching I basically do shortcuts with the keyboard. Why would I need a tablet. As much as I like the idea i'm not certain I would take advantage of most features.

  • Wow. A product review, AND a drawing tutorial! You are awesome, gorilla dude!

  • is the large version? what is better this or an ipad? i want a GOOD tool to draw and paint but if it do another stuff such an ipad it would be GREAT!

  • First time I log my account to make a commentary, REALLY NICE VIDEO.

Thanks you, I will buy it.
