it is such a joy to watch these musicians play together. i couldn t believe my luck when I went to see Tommy in Manchester last year. Frank and Vinny were supporting him, it was a special night!!
Frank is playing a custom Thorell. Ryan Thorell makes a number of georgous jazz style guitars. If you watch the whole Woodsongs program(archived on their website, show #562, Google it) Frank talks about getting it.

Meant to say also, you will notice the other two artists are dressed in suits & ties, hence my tonuge-in- cheek remarks on Tommys attire,

Mr. D, you misunderstand my Aussie sense of humor, I love the music and think all three of the gentlemen playing here are in the genius class.

Tommy's a typical Aussie country boy, dosen't own a suit and can't keep his shirt tucked in. But he can play a bit.

Anybody know what kind of guitar Frank's playing? Love that tone.

This tune has nothing to do with Django Reinhardt, it was written by Harold Arlenm then used in a movie Take a Chance in the 30s.

Just great, great playing buy all. Again, Django may have played tis tune but it was written by Harold Arlen.
