The Phillies have 2 capable starters behind Hamels in Kendrick and Moyer. Eaton was a mistake and honestly I never liked him. Milledge does have talent, but he plays for Sportscenter and not to win. With that attitude he won't last long. And the Mets will make a run at Santana but he'll go to LA if the Dodgers make the offer to them that they made to try and get Texiera. Also watch out for the Angels and Diamondbacks who have more ready now major league talent than the Mets.

When I was in College(1980-1982), I was getting a lot of Philadelphia Trash Talking about their 76ers, but when the Lakers kicked their Asses in the Finals, I was loving it big time!

You are right, and I have nothing against the Mets. It is only Keith Hernandez, rubbing his World Series Ring in our Faces, that I have a grudge with, and that is why I am angry at the Mets, for 1986. And for Darryl Strawberry rubbing it in our Faces as well, hitting that Home Run in the 8th.

Also, when I talk about the Mets spending, I dont just mean free agents! The Mets have the money, to take on Big saleries from teams that are looking to dump contracts! For example. Johan Santana has 1 year left on his contract and you Know the Mets will be making a run at him! They are one of a few Teams that can afford him! Also. your WAY OFF about Oliver Perez! The guy won 16 games last year and with a ton of strikeouts and just about everyone agrees he has ELECTRIC STUFF!

The Phillies have 2 capable starters behind Hamels in Kendrick and Moyer. Eaton was a mistake and honestly I never liked him. Milledge does have talent, but he plays for Sportscenter and not to win. With that attitude he won't last long. And the Mets will make a run at Santana but he'll go to LA if the Dodgers make the offer to them that they made to try and get Texiera. Also watch out for the Angels and Diamondbacks who have more ready now major league talent than the Mets.

I'm a Met fan but things must change before next year. Delgado showing age... Yeah Alou was great.. in his half season. Green is going downhill. Starting rotation is very inconsistent and could never roll a big winning streak. Bullpen went down from 06. Randolph hopefully learned a lot in his 2nd season at the helm. If they stay the same the results will be the same.

I was a Mets fan when I was a kid and I was looking forward to seeing the Mets in the playoffs this year as they came close to being in the World Series last year.
I can not believe how they could do so badly at a time when they really needed to play their best. I feel bad for all their fans to have to witness such a terrible collapse as the season really started well for them.

Last year Eric Neal form ESPN wished the Cardinals would lose and not make the playoffs, well they didn't and Won the big one. Neal is a Mets fan. He got paided back in 1 year to the day. HA HA HA Neal, you fucking loser.
