@Hardie00H Well, not really. They formed in Seattle but moved to Vancouver to avoid the draft. We're talking Vietnam war of course. They stayed here a while but eventually went back home to Seattle. One of my step-brothers was at a party where they played. Pretty cool. We like to think of them as Canadians but they are from Seattle. They've stated this in numerous interviews here on Rock 101 CFMI.

The band's early manager (who also happened to be Ann's boyfriend at the time) was a military draft dodger who slipped off to Vancouver, and Ann followed him. Soon after, the rest of the band followed. And then they moved back the the States after Ann had broken things off with the draft-dodging manager. So they were an American band who moved to Canada for a while, and then went back home.

Seattle sisters/babes, Ann & Nancy Wilson were the stars of the band from the get go, and the only reason they lived in Vancouver in the mid-70s was because bandmates Roger Fisher and Mike Fisher were draft dogers from the US.
