  • @ssgokuliu I've recently begun trying to add mass to my legs.. I'm skinny, so i'm not trying to tone existing tissue. For my aims, the absolute best lower body exercises available are the deadlift and the squat. Start on a smith machine if they're hard to do or just start light. Training big muscle groups is the best way to add overall mass. Leg raises are great ab exercises, not to mention good old fashioned crunches/situps. Dips are great tricep/chest exercises with core involvement.

  • @ssgokuliu Continued... whatever exercises you're doing you should be aiming for three sets of between 8-13 reps. On your last set, continue until failure. If you can do more, add weight. If you can't do enough, subtract. If you're not small and are instead trying to tone mass, you simply need to remain active while using more calories than you consume. Running/cycling are great.. whatever you do, think high reps with cardio involvement. I'm no expert but thats my advice. Good luck man. :)

    dont fk ur growth... let ur body finish with you're testrone production and it will peek at around 21-24... so just relax...

    swim/sports/run around/ jump rope is the BEST for cardio :D

  • I've been following the "urban fitness" movement (as I've come to call it) for about 2 years now, and I love to see new groups pop up in different parts of the country, or the world, so much respect to yall for building the movement. I've been training (seriously) to do this stuff for about 1 year now and went from barely being able to do 5 pullups to doing 15, and 3-4 muscle ups on a good day. However, I'm really starting to plateau off in progress. Any advice?

  • Hey Lazar-I am also 6'2 190-can't do the muscle up yet-doing the work on the pullups/dips yet I feel my height is a hindrance trying to get the timing of the kip right. Any hints on how a taller guy progresses on this? A tutorial on the swing/timing perhaps sometime?
