I could listen to Vangelis all day.

I especially loved "Empty Streets." I first would like to thank YouTube for allowing us to listen to these posts, secondly to piano77man77 for the initiative to share this piece. Most importantly, to Vangelis for his ability to implement vision to sound. =) As of 1/22/2012, no dislikes. Why does that not surprise me.

When I saw Blade runner In the theaters for the first time I couldnt belive it. It was an experience I will never see again. From the first sequence to the end of the movie I just sat until everybody had gone out and then I just started to cry my eyes out. After that experience I was a different person Blade runner Changed my life FOREVER!!!!!

@ALSNEDDON Definitely. This is my favorite out of the whole trilogy, especially this "unreleased" stuff he has on the trilogy that was never heard in the movie. I guess he made up for the other unreleased instrumentals that were in the movie (ex. 'Morning At The Bradbury' ). I cannot wait for whatever his next album or song will be next!

Una verdadera obra de arte... Es una canción que nace del alma de Vangelis. Nada comercial, nada material. Todo es etéreo. Nadie ha transmitido tanto a través de la música como nuestro Vangelis. Para mí, él pasará a la historia como el mejor compositor del siglo XX, y parte del XXI.

@piano77man77 Es verdad, Vangelis es un gran comunicador. Su canal es la música, y como él mismo ha dicho en varias ocasiones "la música es el lenguaje del alma". Hasta ahora no conozco a ningún otro músico que me haya llenado tanto como Vangelis. Como he dicho antes, pasará a la historia, por ser quien más emociones transmite a través de sus pianos e instrumentos electrónicos.

Por cierto, me gusta más esta canción en la escena de amor que la que usaron finalmente... (ésta fue originalmente la canción de la escena de Rachel y Deckard en el workprint de la película) La verdad es que es una canción triste y decadente, tal y como el amor de éstos dos son... encaja mucho mejor con la película.

Hace tiempo me compré la banda sonora actualizada... y hace una semana me compré la edición coleccionista de esta película. Es increíble.

Sobre Vangelis, no hay mucho que un pobre fan devoto como soy yo, pueda decir... es un hombre que describe mundos, emociones, sentimientos con una facilidad pasmosa. Éste es para mí uno de los grandes temas de BR. Ahora y siempre Vangelis seguirá siendo para mí (un músico aficionado de 22 años) una inspiración... salve Vangelis ^^

conozco vangelis desde hace 20 años , tengo 36 ( fan incondicional)......,he escuchado "casi todo".......todavia no comprendo.......como es posible lo q hace ...........y encima cuando piensas q esta banda sonora ya no da para mas , te saca de la chistera otros poquitos, me encanta del cd3. ."Sweet Solitude"..........es lo mas grande este hombre , lo mas grande

You got it! It is from the 'Blade Runner Trilogy (Music From the Motion Picture) [ 25th Anniversary Edition' album. I found this on iTunes.

Thanks! I actually took those photos from a Blu Ray version of Blade Runner. Unfortunately, I had downloaded it but later on I lost it, and ended up with a regular (non-HD) version of Blade Runner (actual DVD). I must admit, though, the Blu Ray version was spectacular compared to the regular version lol.
