I heard from some sources that throwing candy at her is a distraction. Also one could say: "Do you have an appoinment (or something) to attend to" will get her to leave you alone. She will give a blood-soaked ruby is you say yes. Saying average/so-so will get her in confusion.

A funny thing I thought of is that if she asks when revealing her mouth, I would say: "I would like it more if you don't kill me."

This was a very interesting take on the old Urban Legend! Urban Legends are just that: LEGENDS. Legends can change story from story :)

I thought this was pretty entertaining: the intro/back story was effective with the use of sepia tone and angles. I also liked how you used the husband shadow effect!

The voice acting was ok, but i understand this was taped outside and it was wind noise, etc. The blood effect when her mouth was slit in the snow was nice!

Gosh, there are so many different versions to this story, I have no clue why you're getting the short end of the stick.

The oldest version she gets cut up by her hubs because he's a jealous prick. The newest one she's screwed up due to a botched up surgery and somewhere in the 70s, she was gang raped by a bunch of bike riders and can be found riding in the back of vehicles. Then there are the movie versions involving children.

I, for one, commend you for doing giving this a try. :D

The legend is supposed to convey vanity, so it would make 0 sense for her to specifically target children. That's why Carved the movie was so dumb, because they tried to make it about the children when it was supposed to be about vanity. Please do research before criticizing others about their lack of research.

there are many variations on this myth, alot of which are somewhat mysoginistic, so many negative stories are made of many female yokai like kuchisaki-onna, but in many sources ive read, if you say yes both before AND after she removes her trademark mask (and genuinly MEAN it out of kindnes) she will be happy at least ONE person finds her pretty and spare them, the ones who fail arn't typically killed, she gives chase and upon capture, GRINNS them with a sickle, ear to ear.

Alright... Here is some constructive criticism.

The movement of the actors is too jerky, to forced and fake. Not to mention if all of the actors were wearing the medical masks it would have been more believable for the legend. The female that you chose to be the slit mouth woman isnt delicate enough for the part. If you wish for a bit further help so that you may be on the next On the Lot.... I can assist.

I should tell you, no one is really an actor. I just asked all my friends, and these are the only ones who said yes (somewhat reluctantly). So mostly they have no training or experience. The two at the beginning were in high school stage productions, that's it.

Screw On The Lot, I'll stick to youtube if I get inspiration/real actors, I'll probably get more exposure.
