i have no idea what to feel with this kind of music! Its not glamorous yet, not fantasy enough, not exotic, but not exactly happy either. Regardless, it went perfect with this beautiful collection!
the bride looks amazing. with leg that go on and wow :) on and on her legs go. almost like an alien from an old hollywood movie :). some pieces remind me of the film 'the fifth element' which he designed the costumes for so i can see why. with like the netting over the hair and the face like in the bride and karlies final look. best couture collection from him in a long time. since spring 2008 i think.
Stunning. I love Lakshimi's dress; that green is perfection, as is the fabric, and the shape. I Like the way a plyable fabric has been applied to a bombast shape, and the way it moves is heaven. Michelle makes a great Jean Harlow. I feel as though I'm in an old club; one can just hear the music echo through the after hours club, the patrons asked to leave while the air lingers with smoke, alcohol, and the acrid smell rising from the lame' dresses heated by the wearer's body. Fantasy at its best!
5 stars ErichBen. I adore Jean-Paul Gaultier's creativity. It's fun to see clothes that no one in their right mind would wear: like dressing yourself up as a neon butterfly. This haute couture show reminded me of a Ripely's Belive-it-or-not museum. The hair styles from the 20's, 30's, 80's and 90's: a history of womens makeup and hairstyles, superimposed on clothes from the future, as seen in the original Star Trek series, David Bowie's movie"The man who fell from the sky" or similar scifi.
whats the music with the bride?!!! its amazing. im guessing its from a film!
