we went in there once, there was some small access ladders inside at the front, pretty tight and claustrophobic, and there was a big shower room but all the fittings were gone, and the angle of the ship really confused our balance, real funny, i guess its all gone by now though.
LOL thanks for the coords, I looked this up on Google Earth, and yeah, all thats left is a big rusty mess. Looks like the stern section is fairly intact still, laying on its port side. I don't know how out of date the satellite image is though.
Question: Why the hell aren't the owners of these wrecks responsible for clean up and recovery. What country in its right mind allows companies to get away with just allowing an abandoned ship to be destroyed by natural causes and incur the cleanup expense and not to mention the number of people that could be hurt or killed by the debris.
These wrecks draw people like magnets and some of them are stupid enough to try to go in them.
it's the risk of urban and ship explorers if they want to take the risks, with proper knowledge and safety precautions many of these places can be explored (Though most people do not have that knowledge, it's true)
She had no power and who decided to open the hatch covers was a complete idiot, as once opened no hydraulics to close them!, thus tons of scrap plastic enters the marine environment.
Cheers for this vid N2K,was down nosing around in what was left of wheelhouse back in 06 with a cupla mates. V atmospheric. Yeh youre right bout it having a soul,i left after a while because it 'felt' like it wanted to be left alone, even though no lives where lost onboard. Been fascinated by it since.
Have some respect for the dead. OK, perhaps the music could be better, I suppose it is meant to sound like an Indian funeral dirge. After all, if ships have souls, like some people claim, this is a soul that is in it's death throes.
it had been there for about 5 days max.they opened the hatches before they where ready then they could,n shut them, there where aparrantly a big rock sticking right through the bottom.she was carrying recycled car interiors ,all mashed up.but that coast is in the atlantic, and she was soon demilished by the sea ,but provided us with some entertainment
@Tatlock Your so absolutley right... too bad youtube doesn't have a thing to make the sound go away if you don't like it... They should invent it.. maybe call it "MUTE" or something... -.-

ninja2kernow 4 years ago
Wow. I saw it in the end of the movie. ONLY through the power of the waves? Or did they removed large parts?
megatwingo 4 years ago
no they didn,t remove any of the ship
ninja2kernow 4 years ago
Amazing: The whole ship teared apart in this relative short time by the waves.
