  • I like my 5C2 on a POF 415 S16. My only disappointment is it won't work with the GEMTECH HALO suppressor or any other NATO standard accessories (i.e. BFAs et al) Anybody know of a suppressor that will work with the 5C2?

  • hey man what do u think about the vortex flash hider?

  • Damn these posts are so F~kn Liberal! Hey FREE peoples don't recognize tyrannical laws such as gun registration, tax stamps and full autos being only for military, LEO's or people who pay protection money to the local kings and jesters of the kangaroo courts.

If you want to be "free" then get off ur knees sucking the 8=====D of the oceanic Pirates and their so called "laws" which are NOT recognized under natural law or the US constitution.

When the war starts make sure to know which side ur on

  • Sweet

  • Does this make the gun louder?

  • @StetsonXD that's the muzzle compensator not the flash suppressor

  • how do they work??

  • what rear sight is that nutn?

  • When you started firing I started thinking "Dude it would be so manly if I heard: OMG I THINK HE'S DEAD, WHAT IS THAT? *sound of brain getting thrown*"

  • I've been a Tool & Die machinist for 30 years: Yankee Hill does EXCELLENT work. There ARE better flash suppressors, but not available to anybody outside the CIA, FBI, etc.

Yankee Hill is best, hands down.

(Vortex is a very close second, IMNSHO)

BUT, they are WAY behind sked for production quota, so if you find one you need in stock, fer Godz sake buy it first and make excuses to the Wife after!!

  • so apparently the aggressive end of the flash hider / compensator is for stabbing people...

  • you should do a video on muzzle brakes. i think they are more effective than flash hiders.

  • the only disadvantage comes when you shoot from prone thats what the birdcage is made for

its not sloted on the bottom so your not kicking up a shit tone of dust which gives away your position and could cause your rifle to fail

  • @birdman117BxR The 5c2 model doesn't have slots on the bottom either.

  • pro gun bitches

  • is that the one that i has the sharpened ends so you can stab people with it? that is awesome.

  • let's do a flash suppressor test w the lights on. good idea.

  • Does this hide flash and handle recoil better than the standard usgi a2 flash hider?

  • @theCCCman Same amount of recoil reduction, more flash hiding.

  • little sparks thats all i see

  • I would love to see the same camera do the same vid with that gun without a flash suppresor.

  • Next time he'll film from the left haha :P

  • Great vid! That is the flash suppressor I am going to put on the PLR-16 when I get it.. Heard this can tame its huge fire ball.

  • Hey guys, huge fan of the videos! I appreciate being able to watch the diff options that are out there on the market actually being used with honest feedback! I have been looking at the SOCOM and SOCOM II systems, along with the more original mod. variations (M1, M14). This is a system that i would like to add to my personal collection. Can you guys help me out with any and all feedback or the differences and variations? I really dig the SOCOM models that are available for tact./ long range...

  • Haha Bushmaster is a high value Ar15 now? They make junk 1/9 twist. Magwell out of milspecs (all older models wont acept a p-mag), over priced crap all around crap. Buy Colt and never look back. Look at what the Bushmaster fucknuts did to the ACR, 3000 bucks for a 1/9 twist rifle. What a joke dont ever say Bushmaster is a high end Ar15.

  • @mr2roadpirate Hey Mr.2RoadPirate, That may be your opinion, and it's fine that you express it, but do not diss other people. If Nutn, or anyone else thinks something different than you, it doesn't mean they are wrong and it sure doesn't give you the right to diss him. Also, remember the second kind of cool has the same concept.

  • @silentsniper441

i was always told its not the gun the makes the shot, its the person pulling to trigger. until colt makes a walking talking thinking gun that can clean house cook and do the dishes i will not buy a 1k + rifle. yea it might not last long but at 100 yards who cares if the rifle says colt, bushmaster,Olympic arms etc etc etc etc.

it still sends a round down range at velocity fast enough to kill, so what if i need a beta mag to do it.... :)

  • @mr2roadpirate

I had a Bushmaster (ZOMG ITS NOT TEIR 1!!) and can say the following- the gun never malfunctioned after thousands of rounds (and I fed it mil surp and Wolf steel case). It also accepted PMAGS and they dropped free from the magwel every time. They're not really overpriced, thats just the market for ya. As for the ACR- haven't experienced it in person yet, so I have no opinion on it. And you don't need to buy a Colt to have a good AR. Plenty of good manufacturers out there.

  • @mr2roadpirate

Oh, BTW, I've fired plenty of guns with 1/9 twist rates and never had any issues with hitting my target (4" groups @ 100yds fired from the shoulder with a DPMS Sportical). Granted, heavier loads don't like 1/9, but who the hell stocks up on 75gr Hornady?

  • @1RevvinFC3S

I do. I want the guy who breaks into my home to know that I care that much.

  • @1RevvinFC3S I load nothing but 77gr noslers in bulk, But for people who stock up on 55gr PMC or lace city 62 ball 1-9 is perfectly fine.

  • @mr2roadpirate Nutnfancy said in a video awhile back "If you think 1 in 9 twist sucks, youre an idiot"

  • Im not certain but it looks as if that suppressor has ports that fire downward, if so aren't you at all concerned with blowing dirt when prone? I know personally its a large factor in my considerations. Thoughts?

  • @usmcschroeder

I have this exact flash suppressor. Although I have yet to test from prone (or at night for that matter,) the 5C2 does NOT have a port directly facing downwards to prevent such a thing from happening. I'll have to test it it however to be sure! (which I don't mind.)

  • there is a video of the LR300 that has this phantom flash suppressor on it and the guy says you can cut barbwire with it. can you demonstrate this for us?

  • Another great vid Nutn. It would of been cool if you emptied another mag without the flash hider on the barrel so we can see what its like without it / compare to not having it. Thats just me being nit picky though cuz I dont wanna drive out to the desert and do it myself!

  • TOTALLY!! BRO !!

  • Scared bro... YOU SHOULD BE lol.

  • Effective. thanks for posting!

  • I think to be honost that the virtual grip here is a Command Arms SVG, i have the same one

  • someone told me that the flash hider not only reduses the flash but allso some recoil. Im not shure if its true, can some one explain? I think it has to do with the gases that leave the barrel? if you know enlighten me! thanks!

  • *i ment to say muzzle climb*

    sorry ;)

  • a flash hider does help to control the stability of the firearm under rapid fire, not necessarily barrel climb or recoil. It's not realy noticeable unless you have a fully auto rifle, but under extreme firing conditions, the barrel experiences harmonic vibration which causes discomfort for the shooter. Dispersing the gasses in a consistent pattern helps control this.

  • The Vortex is hands down the best flash surpressor on the market. Ease of installation and it's performance make it the one to beat.

If you're looking for a flash surpressor/compensator combo the PWS FSC is probably the best muzzle brake/ flash hider you can get.

  • hell ya i rock a vortex they the bessstt

  • I just put a vortex on my SU 16-C and it's the s**t dude. Heard that the prongs can break off if ya hit it on solid stuff like rocks ect. But after plinking at night , all I can say is it's the best I've seen. Or should I say not seen. Just ordered another for my home made AR from Brownells.

  • How does a flash suppressor work?

  • Excellent. I'm going to have to decide between this one and the Vortex. YMH states that this incorporates muzzle brake with flash suppression so I will have to take that into consideration. Thanks so much TNP!

  • dude....that's sick, NO flash.

  • Awesome!!!

  • shit are you serious? fuck theres nuthin but tiny sparks comming out of that i should get one of those my ar-15 has a MAJOR flash problem

  • I use this flash suppressor sometimes when I run a 5.56 x45 carbine. (Kind of liking the Surfire Suppressor adapters a little bit more now though.)

(My 5.56 carbine: Noveske N4 Light)

  • Yeah I love Yankee Hill Machine products. Just picked up a YHM lower for a build with fantastic fit and finish. I'll need to pick up a phantom, for the finishing touch.

  • I own a M&P 15 and will definetly work on getting this suppressor.

  • I need to get one of those.

  • i posted a response vid with the stock flash hider for comparison

  • next time u should also show what the flash looks like without a flash hider

  • cool....If you had a director he would have told you to stand port side...good job.

  • can you do a video talking about a certain gun thats hella powerful and deadly im trying to make a song out of it talk to me in pm please. thanks man

  • Not even Slayer could make that a successful song and their fanbase is 30%redneck + 70%meth.

  • destroy the enemy hooah

  • its ooh-rah

  • Flash Suppressor realy works - impressive ( 5* )

  • Does anyone know how this works, Is it a small air inlet to help the burn? any info appreciated.

  • impressive, How much are these?

  • 30 bucks

  • threaded or an alternitive ?

  • wolf=lacquer covered dirty ammo but it is cost effective

  • Flash suppressors only reduce muzzle flash from the shooter's perspective I thought?

  • And all the anti-gun people say: "Oh my gawsh!!! You have a flash surpressor!!! That makes the gunnn look scary....I dont think you should be allowed to own one. It could make you invisible if you cut loose in a Starbucks after dark."

  • I have this flash Supressor, Makes me feel good that it has Nancy's Seal of Approvement lol.

  • * NutnFancy *

  • Nutn I found out there is a dedicated 22 1911 by GSG

  • colol vid, I need to get one of those flash suppressors on my next build.

  • I want get one like this one XD

  • Great vid. nice result with this product. TheAtomicArmory is disrespectul and requires an attitude adjustment.

  • Nice video. Would have liked to see IS wearing some safety glasses for this, especially as kids are watching these. I know I'm nagging about it, but safety first, right?

  • i have one on my MP15 and it greatly helps with muzzle rise too!

  • Hi there Nutn. Nice but very short vid, could you perhaps post an other short (daylight) vid to show us how these flame surperssers look and what exactly makes them work and how they get mounted? Also like to know the diffrence between some brands and types and if this device makes a difference to the shot or flight of the bullet?. Thnx.

  • Boo! If you don't like his vids don't watch them.

  • i defnitaly agree because its not even something where u could say yes maybe u r right its just bullshit and there r enough people all over the world who r watchin and loving his vids like me..

  • I find it interesting in the lack of depth that TheAtomicArmory and similar other youtubers express in their statements. It certainly shows a lack of intelligence and maturity in how to express a differing opinion. Kind of sad really.

  • Go troll somewhere else fool.

  • no trolling bro, just disrespect directed towards nutn bothered me. since removed which is all good. far from a fool, more educated than u for sure. peace

  • I meant that AtomicArmory guy not you, tacticalmd. Sorry for the confusion.

  • sweet...i like these short vids nutn...

not that a 40 min gun review isnt cool but you know

    5/5

    A+

  • pretty cool.

anyone else notice how clean his teeth are?

  • thats amazing. ive always thought you needed one of those silencer looking ones to suppress a flash. thats badass though man. any ideas how much that costs?

  • $21-26. :)

  • amazing.

  • OMG that was sweet, that would have been nicer to have then the danm becon I had in Iraq

  • Love it!

  • wow,, that was nice!

  • where is the best place to get a guality AR-15 from? Something like a 6.8mm, 8'' or 10.5'' inch barrel and gas piston for my home of course.

  • Are you looking for a Form 1 SBR lower or a full system?

  • I'm looking for a full system

    Thanx

  • I would go LWRC (piston). They are good kit and have a good record. If you go DI then you have numerous choices. Take some out and go drive them. This is my opinion and what I have in my safe, your mileage may vary.

  • Really need to compare this to a smith vortex.

  • Why waste ur time watching his videos then? Noone is making you and some of us just like to see firearms on our computers as well as in our safes. =)

  • digid, "it's" is the correct way to say "it is"....not "its'" as you have wrote it......if you want to get technical about grammar and spelling. FAIL

  • -.-

He is constantly making videos and being descriptive in all of them, there is bound to be a typo somewhere, chill.

  • nchun, have written, not have wrote. lol fail..

  • oh yeah....my bad. Fail upon fail. Good call.

  • He's probably in a hurry and it was a typo. Give 'em a break.

  • grammar nazi failure.

    It's

  • how does it supress the flash?

it looks like the end of any old rifle

  • It allows the expanding gases that drive the bullet to expand slow enough to not flash and thereby reduces the visual signature. Take the same rifle and compare a Standard Crown, a Muzzle Brake, and a Flash Supressor. They all serve their own purpose.

  • for shame nutn'fancy! it would be better if you had a full auto ar for the test.... still a good vido tho

  • I have this flash suppressor on my rock river AR. It does work very well picked it up for 30 or 35 bucks so for how much it is and how well it works there is no room for a complaint

  • wowser's, that work's increbily well

  • saw some at a local gun show for ak also.Keep up the great videos .

  • bump fire it!

  • you should have done a with and without because than you really can't tell if its effective

  • i was askin myself that... with where the two were standing those hot empties are headed ur way.

  • My taste goes to the AAC Blackout or the SEI Flash. I also like SAS in that I can then mount my can.

  • what camera is used for this video?

  • what camera is used for this video?

  • Nutnfancy you should test the KNIGHTS ARMAMENT ballistics computer, it's an iPhone application.

  • lol his hat

  • I really hate wolf ammo, i'm not gonna lie

  • Why? as long as it shoots where you aim it then theres no problem.

  • It just seems to jam up on me, other ammo works fine- its just wolf that jams up. but it might just be me

  • Maybe you need to loob it up and make sure your holding the gun right, not too tight not too soft. Make sure not to have any recoil damperrs ok.

  • Well like I said, Its ONLY wolf ammo that does it. But someone explained to me its actually the laucher finish on the ammo-

  • Oh so your AR does not like the finish huh? maybe send the feeding ramp to be modified and itll shoot rocks too.

  • haha, that'd be nice- I think i'll just stop buying Wolf Ammo all together.

  • I gues so. Why did you buy it anyways becuase its cheap?

  • Yeah, and i thought i'd try it out- and i gave it a second, third, fourth chance to not jam up on me. But meh

  • this is the view from the "friendly" side.

Should have put the camera over on the "enemy" side for comparison.

(but not in the line of fire, for those of you who don't know any better)

  • thhese boys did well. some people leaving comments need to stfu though...

  • hahaha for real.

  • Is it just me or is this one of the SHORTEST videos nutnfancy has ever made!?!

Also people on here keep dawging nutnfancy wtf is up with that, if you actually know what hes about and have watched more that 1 videoa and say you know "HE DONT KNOW HELL" well your full of crap and just knock off the immature crap!

Great video cant wait to see the other weapons testing videos!

  • Will not run on iPhone.? Keep up the great work

  • not very fast if he was trying to be fast... but no flash for sure

  • whens smell rollin out to boot?

  • Not to bad. I was wonderin if those flash suppressors were any good.

  • mohawkj99, they are called flash "suppressors" and not "eliminators" for a reason.

And seriously, watch some other nutnfancy videos before you criticize him.

  • Yea you where seeing gas reflected through the light on the end of the barrel, not a flash really.

You saw the gas because a light was shinning through the gas cloud. If there was no light there, then you wouldnt see any of it obviously.

  • Sweet MOE handguard on there

  • thanks for the short vid cool stuff

  • should have shown it also without the suppressor.

  • Can't view on iPhone, can that be fixed?

  • You are an idiot, there is absolutely no flash, what you saw was gases lit up by the camera light...

  • Or you could get one so it wouldnt hamper your vision when you shoot at night, mohawk. Try shooting at night without one and see how long it takes to blind you.

  • Actually I haven't seen any of the Rambo movies...

All I see is a keyboard commando...

  • A what?

  • hmm. think before you speak. He is military and LEO and does reviews for both. It is very relevant to those in combat zones

  • hey smart guy the stuff you saw was gas from the barrel not flash >.>

  • I'm surprised you aren't rocking the Fitzen flash supressor.

  • gas piston is an expensive option in itself. i'd expect to pay 8 to 900 for a base ar carbine(dpms, rra, or bushmaster) these days, it seems like they are getting a bit cheaper again as manufacturers catch up from the 'rush' over the past year or 2.

  • ah flash suppressors, must be awesome to live in a state where u can have them

  • what states don't allow them?

  • california mainly

  • NYC

  • NICE

  • Amazing! A simple device can make extraordinary results!

  • Wow Nutnfancy, A video under 3 minutes and you did not Duracoat anything?

Just kidding, I love all of your videos! keep up the great work!

  • Get a DPMS light.

  • DPMS A3 Lite 16's rock!

  • Comment removed

  • Respect the Phantom, that was awesome. Love the slow motion part, you really can see how good the Phantom is at killing the flash. Great job Nutn & Smell

  • haha smell owns! "-Nutn: You scared bro? -Smell: *with rifle on his hands* You should be. :D"

  • you got to be kidding me... holy s&!t! there is no freaking flash what so ever! My dear god, that was epic guys.

  • cant have that flash suppressor in ny u can only have a muzzel brake

  • Will that attach to a Carbon 15 pistol?

  • Should.. Long as it's 1/2" - 28 threads

  • AWESOME! I can't wait to conduct some night=op's now!

  • saaweeeettt vid! thanks nutn as always.. oh yeah, IM WEARING THE TNP FIRST RUN TSHIRT AS I TYPE!

  • why do you get so many ARs?

  • Nutn has his group of shooting buddies who trust that he'll take care of their guns if he decides to borrow them.

  • Shortest Nuntfancy video ever!!! LOL!!!

  • Love this channel, btw guys, primers are in stock finally at Powder Valley Inc. Already bought mine so thought i would let you know CCI #41 29.00 per 1000

  • That really works good.
