I was fortunate enough to see them when they were on tour promoting this album, back in '05. It was, and remains, one of the happiest moments in my life. Even now, some 6 years later, I can't help but listen and fall in love all over again.
I was devastated when the broke up. I'm still happy, and hopeful, that what Carrie said last year is true --that there will be a new album in the next 5 years. I know it's not a replacement (nor was it meant to be) but Wild Flag is certainly filling a void.
Me and my mom used to listen to them on long car trips to see family. Listening to them now makes me think of all the fun times we had. Nice nostalgia.
Got to see them at show box in Seattle too. Got a kick ass t-shirt.
Yeah, I only discovered them in 2005 and then they broke up. It sucked.
