@AbbeyRoad52 Yeah but he could also do songs like Madelaine. He is the most versatile vocalist ever. Like Flying, Turning A New Leaf, Fool about you, Miss Misery, Ship Of Dreams, Helpless, No Mean City, Mexico, Sold My Soul, Moonlight Eyes, Steamroller, Sad Song, Whiskey Drinkin Woman, Too Bad Too Sad, Broken Down Angel...ETC...ETC...ETC...
@BlackmoreRules there is somthing wrong for sure....posers get awarded and take all the credit by copying music from authentic musicians like nazareth....
I've seen about 200 concerts in my life, and this song was one of my favorite live songs of all time, actually saw this in 1978, same stage set up except they also had a huge angled mirror hanging over the stage - Nazareth was also actually the first band I ever saw in concert, 1975 at the Dane County Coliseum in Madison, WI, opening for Deep Purple
@VKUCHLER This my favorite version of Shapes of Things. I´ve loved this since 70´s when bought this album. They don´t play as well as Yardbirds with Jimmy Page or Jeff Beck, but Dan McCafferty sings much better than Rod Stewart with Jeff Beck on album Truth. Nazareth is a Great band!
this is hot is it possible to get it on dvd

Listening to Dan's vocals hurts my throat just hearing it, but that was just his voice.
