Watch and imagine Carol Burnett as representing the US citizens and the Constitution, Harvey is the House & Senate, and Tim Conway represents Obama... Then----
Man she was one of my many favorite shows and "Tim Conway", saturday mor- cartoons est. back when us kids where really raised with moral in life, and love was lovable. Thanks for my tears and my memberance of good happiness.
The sound effects people on this show deserved an award as much as anyone else. I don't think any other comedy used sound effects so well for so long.
I love those times they would miss the gunshot or doorbell ring on purpose, acting like they're incompetent boobs(for effect of course)-- "...I'll get it!" *bing bong*
I think Stella's more like a socially awkward spinster than an elderly person, like the type that used to be played by Ruth Buzzi. You don't often see the spinster character anymore.

I absolutely love Carol Burnett's character of the elderly old lady "Stella Toddler". Stella Toddler is my 2nd favorite character behind the Mama, Eunice and Ed skits.
In life I often ask "What would Carol do?" God I love her.

Most hilarious part:
Stella: "Can I have my purse?"
Man: "Not now, we need it for evidence"
Stella: "How am I to get home?"
Man: "Take a cab!"
Stella: "But you got all my money"
Man: "Here's a dime"
Stella: "A bus is 30 cents!"
Man: "Get mugged two more times!!"

Something about her mannerisms reminds me of Stewart from mad TV, though I'm sure the whole cast grew up with this stuff.

I loved the show too, but this skit is just too stupid to be funny. At least for me.

I never thought Stella was "old". She just seemed very slow and dull-witted, not mentally challenged or anything, just a big ol' dummy.
