Well... I read that in Dec. 2007 issue of Game Informer where the cover story was about the game back when Sierra was the publisher, and most of the specifications were explained. I've been following the game's development ever since I knew it was confirmed and even though I got scared by the publishing limbo it got, now my hopes are up again! The 25th anniversary of the first movie in 2009 will rock now that the game is coming for sure!

I don't have the article handy where I first read bout the game, but I'm pretty sure it was written by the same people who wrote the movies. In fact, IIRC, the story for this game is supposed to be "Ghostbusters III."

So if they screw it up, it's not just the gaming industry that'll be shamed. However, I think it's safe to say those invilved have a pretty damned good track record.

To make it affordable, they put high-end technology on lower priority than Sony and Microsoft. They concentrated on "gaming fun" instead.

Because of this, software developers have to lower the quality in order to not kill the frame rate to ridiculous levels.
