  • hi all Olympic was scrapped written of at admiralty court hearing march 1912

  • why did they switch olympic with titanic they are fucking retards so that means olympic struck an iceberg on april 14 1912 and titanic was scrapped

  • @Stormflux247 ?????? That was a MYTH not true. They mentioned that in a book.

  • @Stormflux247 And the Titanic's Identification number is #401 which was stamped onto the liner, They found that on the wreck.

  • @2011LEGOFAN yup your correct but in a certain hotel in England in dining room the panneling is from Olympic and it bears the no of both ships titanic and Olympic 401 400. these ships were swapped .finally Olympic had a vertical seam on the bows forward of anchor titanic did not have this seam ship on bottom of sea has this seam its Olympic on the bottom as sure as i am writing this kind regards

  • @Stormflux247 thank god someone believes they swapped them yup your correct but the so called OLYMPIC almost ran aground on lands end rocks just 7 weeks after the so called TITANIC sank again a error on navigation . this secret was kept from the public for 75yrs . don't believe all you read about titanic so much truth has been kept from public kind regards

  • @Stormflux247 yup they were swapped al right to costly to scrap more financially better of to sink in sea as the so called titanic was over insured by 2 million pounds to scrap a ship of this size was to costly so sink it and claim assurance kind regards

  • about the switching, its non-sense, since the A deck on titanic was covered and wasn't on the olympic..

  • look the olympic was not the titanic beacause you saw the olympic after titanic sank

  • Good job mate. Olympic was a true classic liner, and well done for mentioning her sinking the U boat. I would have love to have seen that.

  • @admiraldma cheers pal :)

  • They have just scrapped Olympic ... They didnt try to preserve it >.<

  • In the process on making another long awaited video, to all subs it will be another Titanic video. However, song suggestions are need, so please message and comment your suggested songs :D

  • I belive you have made a very fitting tribute to the "OLYMPIC"

  • @RMSQueenMary1930 Thank you

  • isn't it funny, that ships arent remembered unless they have a collision and sank. no one would have remembered the titanic if she hadn't struck an iceburg. The Olympic survived but no one remembered when she was scrapped. I think she deserves better. A ship doesn' have to be in a disaster to be memorable.

  • no mention of ramming the natucket lightship, despite showing two pics of it?

  • As I understand it, after ramming and sinking the Nantucket Lightship in 1934, the line was sued and was forced to decommission "Olympic" and scrap her.

  • LOL rammed a submarine, was the submarine crew blind or something?!

  • @SMGJohn not funny jk lol

  • why did they scrap olympic there was noting wrong we've her

  • @bigwaluigifanable she had been damaged after the hms hawke, but it was just the thing they did and still do to old ships, meant there were jobs for people at the scrap yard

  • joshnike123 the oylimic is not the titanic because when the titanic sunk the life boat had a number on the side and they found it on the titanic

  • @mileyooxx Actually she was damaged by the Hawke early in her career before Titanic sailed, didnt have anything to do with her scrapping. Funny thing is Captain Smith was also in command of the Olympic at the time of the Hawke incident.

  • @Doomsday971 yess very true, and the near miss with the titanic, think it was with the New York

  • THE OLYMPIC SINKS,NOT TITANIC,THIS IS THE REALLY TRUE.WANNA KNOW ABOUT THIS?COMENT.

  • @SJSlucca no it did not the titanic life boat had number on the side and they found it on the titanic

  • @joshnike123 Man, they changed the identity of the ships, for money

if you want to know the true story of the Titanic, add me on Facebook

    Lucca piccirilo Duarte pimentel Toledo

  • @SJSlucca i know right, the olympic was actually the titanic and the titanic was the olympic, the olympic hit the uss hawke witch had a battering ram on it and made a bad hole in the ship and then they switched them out, they say the letters on the bow of the "titanic" are coming off and are spelling "olympic"

  • No i do not believe that its a lie 0:50

  • @zootycooner1 its not a lie its a theory, its up to the individual if they choose to believe it or not

  • @mileyooxx Actually I have heard the theory. However W.S.L. did in fact commission Olympic first. Titanic was cosmetically changed to be distinguished from Olympic, most notably the enclosed promenade deck. Even Brittanic was modified from the other two after the sinking so technically none of the ships were identical. Bonus points here, what was the original name of Brittanic and why was it changed? :)

  • @Doomsday971 named Gigantic and changed after the titanic disaster, not entirely sure of the reason though :)

  • @mileyooxx Very good, give the man a cookie! It was changed due to the W.S.L. thinking the public would see the name as a slam against the gods, almost as if they were testing them. All 3 ships were to be named after the Olympians, the Titans, and the Giants.

  • @Doomsday971 aww alrighty :)

  • and i dont believe that theory they switched the ships and i never will!

  • the best way to seperate the titanic of the olympic is their A-decks. The Titanic has 40 large windows at the front part, Olympics A-deck is completely open space.

Olympic is perhaps 2 metres shorter, but you can't see that clearly.

  • Looks like the Nantucket lightship, not the submarine. she rammed the Lightvessel in 1934-she had a habit of passing to close-this time she didn't get lucky.

  • Dude, this company really did not have luck on their side did they?

  • @AntiBlueXephos noooooooo

  • after she ran out of service what did they do with her

  • oh yeah it got damaged and didn't sink it was camouflaged it wasn't a hippy boat

  • It is indeed the Titanic on the ocean floor. There are so many traits that the ship had that the olympic never had at the time. From very distinct ones to very small ones. That being the A deck promenade layout. The B deck configuration, The cafe parisiene which was only on the Titanic and was added to Olympic after Titanic sank. And like most things... serial codes are used on almost every piece of the ship. From hull plates to propellers. even with the prop switch. everything else would be 401

  • The Olympic was damaged in a collision prior to the Titanics voyage, and was being repaired at the time, and they took a propeller off the Olympic and used it on the Titanic... That's my understanding of it from watching documentarys!!! If they swithced ships, it certainly was not very well known!!!And the olympic appears to be white, and the Titanic was Black.... Pretty fast paint job that woulda been'...& it says Titanic on the ship James Cameron found at bottom of ocean!!!

  • it did not sink it only got really old right?

  • @sweetreviews1 yes :)

  • Chesney hawkes was'nt around then

  • @ajay999999 true, but i only picked the song because i thought the lyrics suited her story

  • @mileyooxx She wasnt the one & only she had 2 sisters

  • @ajay999999 yes, but that wasnt the point to it, just small things like a ship has a name and a ship number, when it says "im not the same as all the rest" i was getting at sinking a sub and "because we come in different shapes and sizes" meaning all different ships. shes was the original and the only surviving one which makes her special

  • @mileyooxx Guess it did last longer than Chesney Hawkes

  • @ajay999999 haha yeahh

  • A lot of people argue with me, and tell me I'm wrong by saying that they would have never done such a thing back then. And maybe they didn't, all I'm saying is what if, I mean it is possible is it not? Both Titanic and Olympic ran on the same size propellers so they could've easily traded one ships propeller for the other. If the Titanic never sank nobody would have never known. Those of you who do believe in the conspiracy that's fine, I'm not saying you're wrong.

  • this is the only one of the three sisters to not sink

  • 2:04*

  • @ 0:51: No, I don't believe it and LOL @ 2:07

  • old reibabe is older then her sister The grand Palace Titanic

  • FUCK THE SCRAPERS!!!

  • so titanic

  • Nice video. I realize its a few years old and maybe you have by now changed this in other videos but can you please leave the text on a little longer? I had to pause it to read some things... Maybe Im a little slow. :/

  • @101HeyNow thats totally fine mate :) thanks for the advice

  • olympic oldest the old reliable grandest its older then titanic :P

  • finaly pabak on germany

  • pause at 2:05 its a better picture of the collision

  • such a beautiful ship, great video!

  • Wy is it so strange painted ?

  • @TheDadubbers because those were her war colors from 1914-1918 for WWI. if she didnt have the colors shed be dead

  • @TheDadubbers It was a concept called 'dazzle painting,' which was a World War I attempt to confuse submarines. It was thought that the wild geometric shapes painted on the ship would make it more difficult for a U-Boat captain to judge her angle on the bow & speed, therefore making it more difficult to set up an accurate torpedo shot.

The practice was discontinued after the war with little evidence to back up it effectiveness. But it sure was eye-catching for a while.

  • song name?

  • Her yard number is 401, saw it in a documentery

  • @sagitario114 which documentery was that? :)

  • @mileyooxx Conspiracies - Titanic, the ship that never sunk? The people thoguht they switched Titanic for Olympic, so the looked for yard numbers

  • Olympic would have been 100 years old, if she had been saved. You will be missed, Olympic.

  • @SuperTitanicfreak i know terrible fate for such a grand lady :)

    thanks for commenting

  • I belive Olympic was switched White Star Line are luky to have Titanic (sailing under the name of the 'Olympic') served the company for 24 years. but it is up to you to belive or not. Nice video man ^_-

  • @kevin19121219 thank you :D

  • @kevin19121219 um actully the Olympic wasnt built when the titanic was the name switch your thinking of was the Titanic and Britannic as the ship named Britannic was longer then the Titanic which we know shouldnt be because the infomation about them befor release stated that the Titanic would be the largest of the three followed by the Britannic so in actual fact the titanic was sunk by a mine the Britannic was sunk by an iceberg

  • pause at 2:56 too olympic or titanic?

  • @robloxlumber123 yes, its from left to right olympic, britannic and titanic.

  • pause at 2;56 too olympic or titanic?

  • pause at 2:01 very cool colide!
