I've been there 2. I loved it there. my dad lives in thailand and has some(3) resorts there. next time you go you should check out koyao island resort. its also in the bay of phuket and its really beautiful. and plus its not that touristy.!

@malingamurali Bull! The tsunami of 2004 did not touch this beach due to the enclosure of those cliffs. Plus they have put sirens on Phi Phi Don (sister Island) that give you about an hour to reach higher ground. Talk about something you know versus speculation that is nonsense.

Reminds of the movie "the cove", when the dolpins are trapped in a beach just like that, by japanese boats making noise that scare them. Once cornered they are slaugthered and sold, more then a 1000 dolpins are killed in japan tiji every year? Or month?
