..the Zendrive acts like a Dumble Overdrive, but JM uses his Dumbles clena and gets his overdrive from TSlike Pedals, for example this one but I think mainly a modded TS808 by Keeley...but I`m not 100% sure ;-)

my question is: I like playin ACDC and Airbourne type of music, you know, rock and hardrock, but also like playing SRV, an hendrix music. do you think that I'll can get the ACDC's or Airbourne tone with this pedal, the fulldrive 2 mosfet, or for that music is better the OCD?

@pablonoxi You would probably find it difficult to get both tones out of this pedal. Srv yes, but this probably cant supply enough crunch and breakup for ACDC type stuff, after all its an overdrive not a distortion.

the OCD is very very very very similar to the fulldrive mosfet

you can get anything the OCD does with this one, go with this one

Fulltone! the OCD is for a more modern sound, with the fulldrive sounding much more smooth and vintage.. I tried both. Hope it helps

@kebekoi66 i have both ocd and on my board as well as the fulldrive 2 and to MY EARS the ocd at drive around 3-4 gets a warmer creamy tone and the fulldrive i use for grittier stuff

@kebekoi66 I have a 65 reissue super reverb and when I had a OCD V.4 it didn't mesh that well with the super as well as a catylyst and octafuzz from fulltone BUT the fulldrive 2 mosfet sounds awesome thru the super reverb so I traded for that and am much happier now with the tone and it goes well with my Kelley baked mod TS9.

i tried this pedal this weekend, is it normal that it doesn't sound good on the tremolo channel, on the normal it is very sweet!

I have the same issue with ALL my distortions with my DRRI Tremolo channel. Andy, what's the deal with that? Which channel do you use for your demos? I LOVE my clean sound on the tremolo imput, but it doesn't handle distortion too well (TS9DX, Duecetone Rat).

not only are PGS's demos a very valuable source for finding the right gear in the labyrinth of possibilities. Fender Deluxe Reverb baby!!! Yeah! This is one of the few duel switching overdrive pedals that Fulltone makes that sounds killer. I can dig it, kinda reminds me of a cranked Vox and towards the end of the demo I hear some Marshall tones. Great pedal.
