Blagos' politics are questionable but not uncommon. What I dont like is that the party is putting him on trial and not the people. Thats why they wont show the rest of the tapes. More than half of our government is guilty of what Rod is being charged with. That includes our President. The party cant be allowed to be above the people so we should charge them all if Rod is charged. Pay to play is what they call it. We need to stop all of it nation wide.

It seems likely that next time we're going to get a coalition of corrupt, lying politicians who will sell our birthright. I really think that telling people that the real reason that they wanted the convention had anything to do with our ex-governor is just a weak attempt to cover their own asses. It makes you wonder how many of our political figures were in Blago's pocket before he was arrested.

I'm not sure if you are aware of the fact that the state constitutional convention, that we voted against, was really just an excuse for certain people to fillabuster. Any change that the people would like to make to the the Illinois constitution can be made at any time. There was no need for the convention, other than to allow a few people to put a little more money in to thier bank accounts, at our expence.

You don't need republican to pin down between Blago and Obama. They are both connected to "TONY REZKO". Tony Rezko is in jail now. I'm sure this guy will get out as soon as obama is in white house. As of Blago, he will get out of jail too once he is convicted, Obama will pardon him. Good luck to us illinoian and USA 2009. I'm not surprise this coming year we are going to face a lot of scandal regarding our ELECTED OFFICIALS in illinois and elected President.
