He was hott. But we all have to admitt, the Osmond Brothers were just a white Jackson 5. And the Jacksons came before the Osmonds. But it was kinda cool because apparently they were all friends and they really didn't go after eachother in competition.

Thanks for the memories. I used to watch the Donny & Marie show in the 70's with my parents when I was a child. I think my favourite was when they did a Star Wars musical spoof. Donny was Luke Skywalker, Marie was Princess Leia, and guest star Kris Kristoffersen was Han Solo. The funniest character was the late Redd Foxx who played Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I grew up in a small town in Australia and I was sooo in love with Donny Osmond I cried when I watched this video cos it reminded me of my teenage years, I was completely obsessed with him and used to cry myself to sleep knowing I would never meet him my bedroom walls and ceiling and wardrobeswere covered in posters until my mother tore them down one day when I was at school and painted my room green. I have never recovered! I was famous at school for my obsession.

I too grew up watching the Osmonds on Andy Williams. I did not name any of my kids after the brothers but Jay and I both have a son with the same name. My oldest son is Erik and Jays middle son is Eric. A couple of years ago I met the Osmond Brothers after their show and he thought it was cool we both have sons with the same name.

I fell in Love with the Osmonds in 1964 when they were on The Andy Williams show...and ever since.

In 1976 I named my daughter after Marie.

Now Here's a kick......she grew up to Married "Donny"

so now I have my own Donny & Marie. My daughter used to run to watch "The Donny & Marie Show" every Friday night....Hmmmmm I wonder if that had something to do with it.
