This movie was my childhood. It brings back great memories of me as a little child going over to my grandmother's house and watching this with her. Then at the end of 2001, she moved to Florida (we lived in RI) and that was it.
So I went through my tapes the other day and found Babe, so I put it on. I admit that I cried, both from the moving story and the memories inside it.
For those who want the music without the voice : listen to the original Saint-Saëns symphony N° 3 with organ "Finale" (there's a good version live in Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris here on YT).
As soon as the narrator talks,i thought "Oh my gosh his voice sounds so good" I knew right away that this is no ordinary movie. And all the funny parts and special effects. Just breath-taking!
Everything about this movie is PERRRRFECT! I remember watching this when i was little and my mum played it with a 1,500,000 hk dollar hi-fi system with 52" plasma TV. I am only chinese and live in HK but everything in my home is western cuz my mum allows nothing but western movies and songs
I would pay so much $ to get this song with out that guy talking in the back round. I love this intro song so much, someone must know how to remove him >.<
I think this piece of music won't sound that great without the narrator's voice, don't you guys think so? His voice is warm and tender and matches with the music perfectly. He is a fantastic narrator
@Apollomasque By far, one of the best references I've ever seen/read to "Labyrinth"! Well, done! :D (And the fact that you included Babe made it even better!)
during 1995, Nigel Westlake must be RICH. for this music!!! I hate theese garbage during today made this popular unwelldone, with NO nomanations!!! alot a musial instuments around here! Now they use cheap computers!!!
I am going to make my children watch this along with totoro while they grow up... not that crappy anti-semite disney crap nor violent and evil warner bros. garbage.

@newm123 I know how to remove the voice. But the quality of the music would decrease a little bit.
