U are absolutely right!!There was a book released by a German Authour(name?) in which he had mentioned Sikhism has given highest status to women, in comparision with all the religions including the sects that were introduced in the 20th centu

Another story about women power- Maharaja Ranjit Singh had come to the fore because of his mother-in-law who was the leader of his 5-member group when it bore its fruition. And she led the group,including Ranjit Singh, to victories and built an army of 700
