UPS Man Throws Package ( don't use UPS)

UPS are crap. They've owed me $100 for about 7 years, I gave up trying to collect it. They botched a "guaranteed" two day delivery which hugely inconvenienced my customer. Since it was supposed to be "guaranteed" they agreed to refund my shipping charges but never did, even after repeated phone calls. Fuck them I'll never send another package with them and I steer people to FEDEX or USPS whenever possible.

Surprised? They have over 100 stops a day at times. Gates take too much time to deliver. Safety is a concern and its not noticed from the street so no one knows its there unless they seen him drop it off. Do want the box, or whats in it? Just window dressing. Hope the shipper did their job and packaged it properly.

I've been working for  both DHL and UPS, and this happens everywhere. Don't generalize ... in each company you will have 'drivers' like that. @ Thesearemy2cats : subcontractors often get paid piecework, 'normal' staff not, they are paid as employees, but of course they do have to deliver everything in time, otherwise customers might not be satisfied. @ junkyturd : bad weatherconditions are 'act of God', a courier company can unfortunatelly still not change that. They are working with networks.

remember one thing: each and every single delivery service's got drivers handling packages that badly! I work for TNT Express and I've seen plenty of packages getting thrown, stepped on or squashed below heavier packages. Everywhere you got some assholes not taking their jobs seriously.

I worked for UPS and the drivers do throw the packages and the driver that I road with said do not order electronics and have UPS deliver it because 98% of the time it will be broken because they throw the boxes at receiving, into the truck and at your home or business because they get paid by how fast they do things.
