i think the cvs percussion section should've been in there, they did great! the cymbals were the best and btw GMU boo lol jk if my band teacher heard that she may've laughed her husband is the band teacher there, but yea cvs percussionist totally rocked the cymbals are the best!

ha i'm from greene, and we were terrible this year we were behind Marion and in front of Norwich come on it was terrible! I'm in one of these pictures, 9:12 farthest colorgaurd to the right, we didn't really have costumes 'cuz our school is soo poor :( but hey we have fun!

hey, does anyone else know that laurens got a penalty in marching last year? they ataully won marching band, but got a five point penalty for their director being in the judging zone, but they actually did win marching last year, and they won overall this year

THIS WAS SO FUN! Me and my small band came all the way from South Dakota for a band trip to New York, and this was one of my favorite parts for sure. Some people were kinda mean to us though. haha. We were pretty small and didnt sound so good. But it was still a great time.

I've decided not to participate in marching band at all this year because of some shit that happened last year (including sherburne). Instead, I'm going to focus on jazz and wind enssamble.

Since nobody from Norwich posted here yet, I'll be the first! This was my pre-band year, and I believe we earned it. And you have to give us some slack because we got 5th in real marching, not stupid parade block.. So I'm only bringing this up because that was are first big First place.

Do you think your director would appreciate you talking disrepectfully of another band? I am a Norwich band parent, and I can assure you- those kids earned what they won-they work about 11 months before Sherburne perfecting their music and marching technique!

From what I understand. I didn't think you could watch the other bands. I mean I wouldn't exactly know that you watched us.. Did you guys do any like special moves in the pageant? Cuz we walked backwards while we were in front of the judge.

yeah, there was a lot of factors, but most of it was due to the unfair judging (according to our teacher) and after a long talk with the coordinator on the field right after the award ceremoney, he decided that we are not coming back next year. I may make the trip up though, to take photo and possibly video next year.
