if you check the unpugged video of clapton playing this song, he uses the am7 and dm7/A at the 5th fret. not the open chords. its same as the electric version. just a comment.. good playing by the way.
Clapton plays with another rhythm guitarist.. my verison is to try to merge two guitars into one unless you have a mate to play with.. chorus and solo to come soon.
