Goal 5 & 9 are top shelf. Goal 8 is not controversial. It's cheeky, but Banks has let go of the ball. Did Best ever play in a 9 shirt as I've seen him play in 7,8,10 & 11.

My personal favourite is number 5. So elegant. But his balance in 4 is amazing. He had a right to go down and nowadays I don't think there is a player in the EPL who wouldn't have! Mental tackle. 10 is also impressive in such a small space

i would love to see him play against the modern defenders - he never seemed blssed with searing pace like modern strikers - just unbelieveable guile and ball control / manipulation - a true legend who retired too early and died too young.

Number 8 was not allowed But I believed it should have been. I think the ref thought Best kicked the ball out of Banks hands. But the replay clearly shows that Best is a class above the rest. To me, the goal should have been given. Best at his BEST.

8...the ref was right, but you have to love the 'impudence' of Best in trying that. 9...he is just taking the piss. Best had it all, pace, control, vision, strength, accuracy, good in the air, and the cheek to try something new.

Thanks for the post but sorry I just can't choose every one is f***ing brilliant for a different reasons. In 1 how the f*** does he control the ball? When the ball comes in he traps it like it's superglued to his boot. In 4 he stays up when Chopper Harris dives in with studs...how many today would do that and not just dive there? 5...lobbing the Spurs defence when 99% wd blast it over the bar. The commentator (Brian Moore?) is right...'beautiful, absolutely beautiful'.
