"one hand" is sort of a misnomer in that sense, but it really means using one hand for all of the keys, and one for the disc. Although this song has only 1 scratch so it can easily be done with literally 1 hand ;)

How do you unlock it then?

you have to be the arcade operator, as you have to have access to the test button inside the front door of the machine. Once in test mode you have to enter some key commands, which then unlocks 4 songs, some hidden expert courses, etc. Search google for beatmania terminal, using translation for more info.

how did you get to play with the turntable on the left? i'm usually forced to play with my right hand on the turntable

Before you hit start to start your game, hit the Effector button, and you'll get an options screen. Turn on Center Mode, and you get to play with 2P keys and 1P disc. This is only in 7th Mix and The Final.

So... when I insert the amount of coins needed and it says "press start", you press the effector? Or when you select mode (normal, expert ETC)?

I'm pretty sure it's the first one you said (when it prompts you to press Start). It's been a while since I played a The Final machine. Just mess around with it a little bit. I know it's the Effector button that brings up those options.

On The Final and maybe 6th and 7th too, just hit both Black keys at the same time.

you should play this other game that i saw like this... it's called "grand piano" and you play a piano but instead of reading falling bars, you read sheet music. pretty fun.
