She was smart NOT to sell out for 1,5 mil. That offer was made to her back in 2006. By hanging on to the site, she's probably made 2 or 3 times more since that offer was made. True, Myspace may be a sinking ship, but in the meantime she's raked in alot more than the 1.5 million she was offered 3 years ago, and no doubt STILL raking it in to the tune of 6-7 figures annually from her website advertising revenues alone. If I were her, I'd ride that gravy train untill it grounds to a halt.

Shes sounds cool, but looking at it as a business side...sell it! The site seems like it is going no where. Other websites are gaining momentum. I see whatever life is using wordpress, which is for blogs... You should have gone Drupal or a custom CMS to take the site to it's potential. Other websites have more features, and community based. layouts are awesome, but what happens when others have same amount of layouts, and a more user friendly website?

It's actually basic supply and demand. Unbeknownst to Ashley she tapped into a market that geared towards a specific demographics (e.g. 14-17 year old females). Since Myspace is a popular social networking since, actually created, for example, layouts and other visual graphics that supplied her audience with this demand. Corporations pay Ashley to advertise their own products, etc; kind of like TV commercials for a company. Thus, she generated revenue. It's all about finding the next cool thing.

hmmm whateverlife layouts, whateverlife blog, when ya click on those they do not go to her site but to a random site? hmmm this is what we call tweeking or altering the ads for clicks, while she modifies the ads google pays her for all the clicks you people do on her site. its a violation of google policy and is unacceptable..

I just went to her site and it is LOADED with Ads. Everywhere there is an advertisement. I had such a hard time to navigate the page without 50,000 ads popping up. The ads make it so annoying. She should sell to a real company that does not have to put so many ads on the site.
