I'm swedish myself and I gotta say that it's really nice to see someone from Sweden who's come this far and gets this much attention as Alex does. Poeple really seem to like him alot and I'm really happy for him. He's a great actor and really deserves it all. Oh and his english is amazing. You all do realize that this panel happened after they were done taping season 4 right? This is the reason Rutina is so quiet and looks bored, I think she is actually sad and worried this was her last season on TB. The question asked at 8:00 is easy to answer. Vampires have been in every culture and mentioned in religion. So the idea of vampires is very easy to spread almost anywhere in the world.

alex seems to have been a little deaf. maybe has a swimmer's ear? actually, i think other than rutina, everyone there seems pretty happy to be there. maybe she's a bit bored. but this thing about alex is getting ridiculous... yeah eric northman is awesome, but really? and i hate how they keep singling out the sex in true blood. yeah it's a part of the show, but that's all it is.

Alex was wonderful after the panel. His handlers were rushing them and he stayed and gave autographs. He signed my badge, best day ever! Anna was sweet to.

oh and i know some people (dedicated fans who had been waiting in the freezing cold for 3 and half hours) who met some of the cast on set just before they wrapped up.
and they said kristin, alex and stephen were the nicest out of all of them. anna was fairly rude..saying she wanted to 'go home' and deborah just walked straight past them, didn't even acknowledge them.

And this panel has made me like stephen and anna much more. They are paying attention and acting very mature and respectful. And Deborah Ann seems like such a genuine person. She's really fantastic.

oh and i know some people (dedicated fans who had been waiting in the freezing cold for 3 and half hours) who met some of the cast on set just before they wrapped up.
and they said kristin, alex and stephen were the nicest out of all of them. anna was fairly rude..saying she wanted to 'go home' and deborah just walked straight past them, didn't even acknowledge them.
but of course, we all have our off days..just don't be so judgemental and certainly don't start favouring the cast.

I think kristen and alex and actually acting very childish, disrespectful and like some high school clique. This panel has made me like them both much less.

don't be so god damn stupid. they're best friends and alex probably feels most comfortable with kristin than anyone else on the show.
they spend a lot of time together.
and they're chemistry made this so much more exciting to watch! everyone else is dull

@Aveo00 I do like them and they may treat their fans wonderfully. Eric is my favorite character and I have loved ASkars for awhile. Eric and Pam and Alex and Kristen may have great chemistry but I just personally did not like the giggling and whispering during the panel. You don't have to agree.

I dont understand people. yes Eric is great but Bill is a wonderful character too. and this is Alans vision, he wont change the line he choose (whatever it is) just to please a group of fans. you cant make everyone happy. complaining is so stupid. tbh i dont really like how Alex acts on public...guess ist his nordic coldness

In the books after book #3 Bill becomes a background character. There is one other love interest for Sookie but it's mainly Eric/Sookie.

Is it true that Alan only thinks Sookie and Bill should be together? And if is will he make Sookie and Bill end up together? I hope not.
I love Eric I really do. . . but let's take a real hard look at the the just the characters. It's not set and determined who Sookie will 'end up with" in the books.
And if we look at the long term. . . I think that she might end up with Sam. . . or just die at the end. Who knows what will happen. Fairy vampire anyone? Hmmm? I really wonder sometimes.

Alex is definitely the fan favorite. I wish Alan Ball would finally drop his love for Bill/Sookie and recognize that fans want Eric and Sookie.

@Liz86000 I'm an eric fan but i love the other characters just as much but i like the fact the books and show are completely different because otherwise it would be boring, and it annoys me when people become obsessed with just one character and define their liking of the show around them

@babyamom2004 And thats the problem, Alan Ball seems to dislike Eric Sookie and I don´t know why, his obsession with Bill is getting annoying; not even on the Comic con anyone was asking a question about Queen Bill;
Alan Ball should stop trying to shove his Bill love agenda down our throats and give the audience what they want; bill sookie also don´t reunite in the books so it would be a travesty if that would happen on the show.

incase you can't tell, that's where the season is going, and even though they change a lot from the books, they still draw most of the story from them so it's not completely up to alan

@babyamom2004 I didn't know Alan Ball had a favorite couple. And if that's so then my fears have come true, which is that the people who make the show influence it with their personal feelings. At first I thought it was going to end up as Bill and Sookie cuz their actors are married, and now I found out that Alan Ball loves the couple to. That makes me really sad since I am a total Eric and Sookie fan.
