  • I don't know why Malcolm gave Galloway the time of day.

  • Galloway is a hypocrite. He states (when he's not tarting himself to the muslim community) he's a christian and therefore believes a sky fairy created everything in less than a week, talking snakes, zombies, virgin births and a whole host of other scare stories, based on nothing but fear and ignorance.

It's about time the champagne socialist started speaking out against the mysoginistic, homophobic death cults instead of arse kissing them for personal gain. Total fraud.

  • nice

  • excellent

  • this guy is a twat with his head up his own created arse

  • i think my brain is melting

  • It did not persuaded me either,

  • I like how galloway deals with this delusional fool. But lets not forget this is the same galloway who continuously uses cute little euphimisms to describe the holy book literalists in the islamic world........imagine him describing them as 'giving god a bad name'......

galloway should be appointed as the 'minister of hypocrisy'.......

  • Listening to Bowden's arguments gave me a stroke.

  • Not only are the arguments stupid, they do not make sense. How does the speed of light affect radio active decay?

Malcolm Bowden should go to his gp and seek help.

  • How can he say that shit without laughing?

  • Oi Malcolm - how come the sloths managed to keep out of the flood longer than the pterosaurs and the fast-running dinosaurs?

  • @TheBaldmeister those snails in relation to a faster speed of light must of been really fast to survive the flood... creationists are fucking nuts!

  • This is not only Malcolm Opinion but is a universal truth believed by millions who believe the bible to be a fact.

  • mmmmmmmn you make a point and may i make a well studied reply,....... malcolm, your a wanker

  • What's the point of debating creationism? They just talk crap all the time. They can't produce any convincing evidence to back up their claims, and they themselves are completely beyond persuasion.

  • @rickelmonoggin

Just like you are beyond persuasion?

  • Malcolm Bowden's speech and use of large words may sound intelligent but he is nonetheless incredibly ignorant and idiotic.

  • First of all he said he created it outside of time ,then he said he created it in six days.?

  • What scares me the most is that Malcolm Bowden seems to cincerely believe in what he is saying, without any doubt… How can that be in this day and age?

He must be “out-side of eveloution”, that to me is a perfectly satisfactory explanation!

  • He has a point and its something I've thought about many times. Many scientists already have the predetermined conclusion that evolution is the only possibility before they conduct research, so regardless of the results they will always interpret it in a way that supports their preconceived notions of evolution. This is why they automatically dismiss research which indicates the earth being much younger, because it "can't" be true.

  • Not enough to keep the mind alive.

  • wow, breath taking moronic.

Beat Kent Hovin hands down in stupidity.

  • gobshite

  • arp76 - You conveniently have firends lock enabled so I couldn't answer you. However, I will post my reply to this when I have a bit more time.

  • arp76 - Don't be so secure in your own position. I'll be answering this fully when I get some time.

  • Malcolm is a complete moron. I can prove it too, at 2:45 to 2:55 he has the audacity to state "the speed of light was much faster in the past than it is today".

Got news for you Malcolm. The speed of light 'c' is a constant, about 300,000 km/s. You learn that in grade 8 science. Malcolm, you sir are a complete moron.

  • QnothingUnrealExists - I would argue further that evolution (Macro) does not happen and has not happened at all. Micro ecolution, change and variety within species has long been attributed as the driving force for MACRO evolution, which is pure tommy rot. Positive mutations are so far and few between, even over billions of years, they are simply insufficient in building the evolution of all life that we have today.

  • @bgibb101 Mutation is not the driving force in evolution, and modern evolutionary theory does not hold that. Sexual recombination produces much more variation with far less risk, which is why the Cambrian explosion occurred soon after sex appeared. But even without this, life uses all sorts of mechanisms to move chunks of DNA around and re-purpose them, and we learn more about this all the time. Pretending that evolution depends on random chance is just creationist propaganda.

  • @bgibb101 you have no idea about biology.

  • So Malcolm Bowden, if you condense all the radioactive decay we know has occurred into 6 thousand years, the earth must necessarily be molten at this time. I'm very happy that creationists take this fucktard seriously, because it makes it much harder for any non insane person to take their delusional nonsense seriously.

  • jeepsterr - I agree. The science of genetics has been a stumbling block for organic evolution of some time now. Indeed, several prominent mathematicians have argued that 4.5 billion years is simply not nearly long enough for evolution to have occurred as claimed by most evolutionists, given the comparitive rarity of positive mutations that allegeldy fuel evolution.

  • @bgibb101 No. Mathematicians have argued the random mutation cannot explain the diversity of life in 4.5 billion years. But evolution is not random, its a positive feedback loop in which anything beneficial is reproductively amplified. Most variation comes from sexual combination and other mechanisms, NOT random mutation.

  • I do not agree with all the viiews of MR Bowden but I am definitely a believer in intelligent design and hold a degree in Biology. What I finbd pathetic is that so people just resort to stupid name calling in place of argument. Even atheist friends of mine admit that Bowden's book "Science V Evolution" is superbly written and well researched and gave food for thought. PEople who resort to vile insults have no real argument.

  • "the evidence is there in the rock"... oh wow... only if you ignore all the evidence against your ideas, and create evidence for your idea.

  • Every single creationist argument that I have ever investigated independantly is either completely false or an extremely cherry picked stretch of the truth.

  • @bigfilmhat I especially enjoy when creationists claim that real scientists support their views, and so I look them up and ask them, and gee--they never are. Evolution is a fact of life. Evolutionary theory is our best, collective understanding of how it works. Creationism is logically indefensible, so they lie, pervert, distort, throw tantrums, and attempt to subvert the law in order to make it all go away. Adapt. The Pope did. You can.

  • @nothingUnrealExists

Oh I agree, I think creationism and "ID" are as credible as a flat earth. Rexamine my comment. I'm not creationist at all.

  • @bigfilmhat I wasn't directing that "You" at you. ;-)

  • What a load of fucking trash.

  • "People like Malcolm give God a bad name"... Ummmmm... for believing the Bible???

I can't believe he said that!

  • Epic geology fail.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ was a Creationist. He was also the Creator. The Lord never corrected the writings of Moses but quoted from them often enough. In regards to the scriptures -vs- "scientist" that go after it's claims, they are all dead and wrong. What size telescope do they need before they are floored at how amazing His creation is? Nothing on the earth has impressed them, so I'm assuming they need to see something in the heavens.

  • @goffnett : There are no writings of Moses. Moses is fiction. There is NO evidence for the existence of Moses.

  • Science fail

  • Two morons debating a fairy tale. Fucking hell this is very amusing

  • 2 the last comment f off u ignorant idiot

  • Malcom Bowden has to be one of the biggest retards on the planet. Asserting this kind of bullshit simply isn't acceptable for a grown man.

  • Shame the interviewee didn't go on about creation. Then we would have all known he was an utter fool.

    What do you reckon Smoki?

  • And you don't have to post third-grade half-wit arguments about a stone God can't lift on my channel. Do it here. I'll school you on that as well.

  • You are quite funny Smoki. The god paradox is a philosophical problem that you dismiss so quickly. Go on then, what is the answer?

  • lmao I don't even want to waste my time on your third-grade ass. Google your question and read at least a couple out of hundreds of debunkings of such idiotic, incorrect, useless question. DIY baby.

  • In other words you can not do it .....because nobody can do it.

Evolution is a fact. I am happy with facts.

I am also happy to see yet another of you god guys fall by the wayside. It gives me hope. It shows me that should my daughter ever pick up on such crap, I can set her straight.

  • In other words you're too lazy to read a couple of debunkings. Of course, it's not in your interest.

I'm happy to tell you evolution is the most ridiculous fairy tale the world has ever known. FACTS speak against evolution, if you didn't notice. A couple of those facts should set YOU straight, that's for sure.

  • I have watched several creationist deceptive videos. I was also educated at a catholic schoo and was presented with rubbish as fact. Hell, I even worked with a deluded christian creationist that used to claim the most absurd tales ever as fact.

When you claim creation is correct, what IN FACT you are saying is that you do not understand evolution.

  • I could school you on evolution any day, because if you "understood" it as you claim to, you'd see the ridiculousness of such theory. Shame, shame.

  • My point is I DO understand how evolution works. It is a wonderful science.

But don't stop. Pleeeease blow it out of the water with your 'facts'.

Before you do, please understand that you may not quote any scriptures.

  • I was about to try and debate you UNTIL I SAW your Alex Jones videos. He is a sack of dung!

Anyway, I am about to drink some milk. However, my Asian wife won't join me as she is Lactose intolerent (like most Asians). Look that up and se how WE have EVOLVED.

  • lmfffffao you are a perfect example of a wannabe-scientific-nerd

race variations don't contradict creation in any way - and more than that, they're definitely the lamest attempt at "proving" evolution of "man from animal"

  • And that, ladies and gentleman reading this, is why you should read before you type.

The lactose in/tolerance is in fact a recent (recent in terms of thousands of years) display of how humans have evolved. It has nothing to do with "man from animal" which is a painfully misinformed phrases.

    Next please Smoki!

  • No schooling received yet! Ha Ha. I knew you were funny!

  • Light is slowing down??? Light affects radioactive isotopes??

    That is absurd.

The way he conjured up the answer about who made god was painful. He simply made up the situation. By the same idea I can prove that I own a unicorn.

Nothing he said was scientific, it was bunk! Maybe the universe was created, but not for us and not by an entity that cares about us.

  • galloway is a muslim..he beleives the earth is on a giant turtle like the quran says lol

c14 dating is flawed it only works up till a few thousand years. not millions

  • Manckie you're a moron.

  • it is not me that believes the universe created itself and that he has ancestors that were ape, lizzard, fish, plankton and rock...that would be you.

the insight into the cave man like education you have had can be summed up with your "the world is flat" response

"your a moron" lol..galloway is a muslim. you think you are related to a banana.

    im not the moron.

  • Where do you get the fact that Galloway is a muslim? Did you not hear what he said in this video? Galloway talks a fair bit of sense when he talks of zionists and the American view of bombing away anti-American feelings.

Anyone who dismisses evolution is rather foolish. If you read up on the subject it would soon become clear. Comments about being related to bananas are silly and distracting.

  • How are you able to operate a computer? The giant turtle myth is from native Americans or Hinduism not islam. If he just decried young earth nonsense why would he think turtles hold the answer. He is a Roman Catholic BTW.

FFS, C14 is good to 60,000 years after that other isotopes are used: Thorium-232 (half-life = 14 billion years) and Rubidium-87 (half-life = 49 billion years).

  • I always thought that Galloway talked bollocks. Now I know its true. Belief in a mythical being is just one of his many many faults.

  • wow lol

  • gosh

  • Creationist always strike me as little kids of limited intelligence, having just found out that they have something called a mind, and that they can play around with it to come up with whatever they like.

  • No its not fantasy, its the little kid who lies to deny the truth even with the choclate ice cream on their face. They will deny they ate it and expect that to trick the more intellegent adults.

  • that was a quick conclusion!

God gives god a bad name.

  • If anyone had inclinations toward Creationism, its time to get of board fast. These guys are compleatly bonkers...time is slowing down??? Good grief, the havoc religion causes in the human brain is alarming.

  • This bloke has spent his whole life in Britain and he's ended up like this?!

Only one explanation is possible; FUCKIN' BONKERS!!

  • You cannot pick and choose.

You either believe the bible in all content or you don't.

You either believe that ALL of what is written in there is correct, or you disregard it all.

So you either believe in the bible and therefore believe that the earth is 6,000 years old, or you disregard the bible in full from Genesis to the Gospels.

So how can you be a Christian, yet disregard the accounts of Genesis?

  • Because Genesis, has a formulaic, poetic structure. History, sacred myth, fable, fantasy, parable, analogy, writing exercises, and other genres each requires a different interpretation.

Of course you pick and choose. You hopefully don't take all the Bible literal. Do you?

Do you condemn wearing clothing made of two kinds of material (Lev. 19: 19)? Trimming or shaving sideburns (Lev. 19: 27), getting tattoos (Lev. 19: 28), and charging interest (Deut. 23: 19-20)?

  • Well now, this seems perfectly ridiculous. I can read a news article on-line about Obama's stimulus plan, for instance. I might disagree with the reporter's analysis or even notice that he or she got a fact wrong - but it doesn't change the fact that the stimulus plan and all the players in the story exist to begin with.

I personally don't believe in the bible, but i see no contradiction in believing in god but also interpreting the bible loosely.

  • Hang on a minute.

Are you comparing the Bible, which is supposed to come from the almighty, all-powerful God, to a reporters analysis of the stimulus plan?

Are you having me on, that's your comparison and hence defence of picking and choosing in the bible?

    Please re-read what you wrote.

Christianity teaches that it is the word of God.

If you interpret the bible loosely, this merely means you ignore the bits you don't like, and count the bits you do.

    Please, THINK.

  • What a bunch of false claims. Where the hell did you get the "you either believe all or disregard from Genesis to Gospels"? What the hell is that standard?

You seem to think Bible is one book, of one genre, like some harry potter shit. FAIL. The Bible is a collection of books, and a variety of genres, from historical texts, to metaphorical texts, to gospels, to theological texts, etc. Consequently, you approach each text through a different lens, just like in a library. Clear enough?

  • No. That is not clear. And I know plenty of Christians that would disagree totally with you.

Firstly - HOW can you decide which are metophorical, and which are literal?

Did someone say pick and choose ... ?

  • Right. Study some theology, then come back. "Plenty of Christians" don't know the most most basic requirement of Bible studies, and it's no surprise. I'll repeat: Bible is not "a book", it's a collection of genres. Which is which? Ever used common sense? There's a lot of it in Bible studies, unfortunatelly you've missed that. Genesis, for example, is a clear theological, metaphorical account on Creation. Book of David is more of a poetical theology section. Revelation is prophetical text. Etc.

  • So why exactly is it that you can assume that Genesis is a "metophorical" account, whereas others are literal?

I'll tell you - science has shown that genesis is total rubbish & cannot be taken seriously. Whereas other parts of the bible MAY have happened, and until we create time machines we can't be sure.

However, 1,000 years ago, Genesis may well have been taken literally by the majority of people.

It's not common sense,it's merely a matter of convenience in the way each part is read.

  • No, it's matter of common sense. Genesis can not possible be taken literally, and Bible itself, in further account, points that out. 6 days threw you off? Further in the same "book": "1 day is thousand years and thousand years are 1 day to God", implying that Genesis' account of creation is purely metaphorical, generalized, not technical. "Science" had nothing to disprove in Genesis, buddy.

Don't even bother with me. You're not at the simplest level of knowing the topic.

  • I didn't want to bother with you, but you popped up to comment on my post after 4 months, foaming at the mouth.

It's common sense ONLY with what we know today! 1,000 years ago, would it have seemed such obvious common sense then?! No!

Now it seems total common sense to me that the Gospels cannot be taken remotely seriously when they are written by men 30-100 years after the events, telling stories passed down over many decades.

    Do you agree?

Or...are they the LITERAL ones... ?

  • I smell pwnage coming your way.

You skipped the fact that Bible ITSELF points out Genesis CAN'T be taken literally. So THAT to you isn't common sense eh? You stupid or what?

On Gospels. PUBLISHED by men directly related to Christ later than the events, DUH, you think they don't need time to write the accounts down? Under constant persecutions etc? You're a true dumbass. It's like denying accounts of Pontius Pilate. There are PLENTY of contemporary mentions of Jesus and crucifiction.

  • Where does the Bible point out that Genesis can't be taken seriously? You didn't prove that at all. The God's day = 1,000 days, theres no reason that it shouldn't be taken literally.People 2,000 years ago didn't know what we know now.

And the gospels were written 60+ years after the events, by words passed down, in a time when there were no records, no holding of evidence, no photographs.Such things do not stand up to scrutiny! &you called me a dumbass, well at least you know one thing, irony.

  • Plenty? Name one! The bible is a story about a man named Jesus that was a bit of a philosopher. It is no more the word of god that what I am typing now.

Please quote us the part of the bible that tells us not to take it seriously.....if you can!

  • "The Bible is a story about a man named Jesus"

A clear example of a uneducated atheist/agnostic, who didn't bother to study the subject he's criticizing. Stating the Bible is just a story about Jesus is the same as calling the whole history section of a library just a story about John F. Kennedy.

    You're beyond pathetic.

  • Dear Smoki, I was educated at a Catholic school in England. I have read most of the new and old (strange contradiction that) testaments and saw it as nothing more than a story by the age of 14. The smoke and mirrors and spooky language were really obvious to me even then. My father was a engineer and my mother in medicine so science and critical thinking was around me. As such, I saw through the bible at a young age. Sadly you have yet to.

  • "read most of it", "spooky language"...

You're indeed like a 14 year old who doesn't get it. I won't even bother with you, because if you "saw through the Bible" (lmao, sure), you would consider and analyze all content. "Spooky language" is one hell of an argument, mhm. "Smoke and mirrors" is a pathetic escape route with no basis at all.

  • This post had me confused. Are you saying that as a teenager I should have just accepted what I was told and thought it through?

"sir, why does god allow people to die in agony?"

"god works in mysterious ways Johnny" Smoke and mirrors.

You shall have no other gods before me.

You shall not make for yourself an idol.

You shall not make wrongful use of the name of your God. Spooky language.

  • One day is a thousand years blah blah blah. That is simply a smoke and mirrors tactic employed by the leaders of whatever faith, This trick may have worked way back when the masses were ignorant, but in 2009 you sound like a person that is unable to think critically.

  • "bla bla bla" works just fine. In other words, you dismiss the fact the Bible explains perfectly the timeless nature of God, because of course, somehow it's just "smoke and mirrors". You simply look at one phrase, criticize it, but don't consider any explanations of it from the same source because they're not plausible to you. Pathetic third-grader.

  • Timeless nature....there you go again. One minute god has human traits and the next minute it isn't even slightly human. We have made god in our own image and change him to suit us.

Even if god was real, it could only be see as either a total failure or very clumsy and in need of help. Either way, not much of a spooky entity.

  • God has all human emotional qualities, not physical. Once again you show your complete lack of knowledge on the topic. Don't bother arguing.

  • God has human emotions? Did you read that before you hit the little button?

So god can be evil, vane, nasty, racist, violent and crule, can he?

Holy hand grenades people! Let's arm ourselves against this entity just in case it ever appears.

I enjoy how you view my opinion as a lack of knowledge. That is funny!

Since when did describing a non-existant entity become a topic of empirical facts?

  • Creationists are fucked

  • What an idiot

  • It amazes me how people can convince themselves of this codswallop. Scary.

  • People like you give god a bad name.

    haha so true.

Speed of light slowing down? 10000 years old?

What is this crack head on?
