I had mint planted in my SFG until I realized how is spread. It will send out deep roots into other squares and take over. I moved one of mine to a container and another just out in the yard where it could run wild.
@OurFreedomGarden I'm beginning to notice that about the mint; it's not showing any signs of slowing down. I may try to transplant some nodes and it get started in another container myself.

Your garden looks great. I recognized the area right away by the cicadas. Where in Middle TN are you? We are in Franklin. I love the frogs....
